Haakon Bjørklid (30 May 1925 – 27 January 2020) was a Norwegian illustrator, painter, animator and printmaker.

William Duborgh Jensen (10 May 1935 – 24 May 2017) was a Norwegian fashion and costume designer.
William was first known as a fashion designer; he was Norway's first "haute couturier" with his own collection in 1958. He later worked in television and film as a costume designer.He was appointed as a Knight, First Class of the Order of St. Olav in 2006 for his efforts in fashion design.William died at the age of 82.

Terje Moe (October 16, 1943 - February 27, 2004) was a Norwegian painter.
He studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry from 1963 to 1966 and at the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts from 1968 to 1969 under Reidar Aulie. The National Museum of Art, Architecture and Design owns six of his works.

Arne Lie (September 25, 1921 – January 22, 1982) was a Norwegian actor best known for the voice of Paul Cox in the radio drama God aften, mitt navn er Cox (Good Evening, My Name is Cox), broadcast by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation's Radio Theater department, and for his role as Instructor Brandt in the Norwegian Stompa films and radio dramas, based on the Jennings novels.

Nina Malterud (born 1951) is a Norwegian ceramist. A graduate of the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry, since 1975 she has created a variety of practical and artistic artefacts, both large and small, working mainly with blue clay. Applying her art to tiles, she has decorated public buildings including the University of Tromsø and the Courthouse in Sandvika. Malterud was head of ceramics at the Bergen Academy of Art and Design from 1994, serving as rector from 2002 to 2010. In 2022, she not only received the Ulrik Hendriksen Honorary Award but was honoured with the St. Olav's Medal.

Morten M. Kristiansen (born 30 May 1948) is a Norwegian illustrator, known by his signature Morten M. He was born in Oslo.
In the 1970s he delivered political cartoons to the newspapers Nationen, Dag og Tid and Ny Tid. He also contributed to the humour magazine KOnK. From 1979 to 2011 he worked as illustrator for the newspaper Verdens Gang. Among his books are Om badecar og andre... from 1979, Tjaså..? from 1982, Tjasså! from 1987, and Ute alene from 2003. He is represented at the National Gallery of Norway, Riksgalleriet and other art galleries.

Finn Hald (8 July 1929 – 17 October 2010) was a Norwegian ceramist, sculptor, illustrator, poet and playwright. He was married to Dagny Revold. Among his books are Revestreker from 1970 and the short story collection Fuglesirkuset from 1978. He published Mellom to stoler from 1980, Sidespor from 1986 and Oppsving from 1996, all in collaboration with his wife Dagny Hald and designer Roar Høyland.

Anita Ruth Greve (5 August 1905 – 19 September 1972) was a Norwegian painter.
She was born in Kristiania as a daughter of Bredo Greve (1871–1931) and Finnish citizen Esther Hougberg (1878–1939). She was a niece of Ulrikke Greve.She studied at the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts from 1935 to 1936 and 1938 to 1940, and her solo debut exhibition came at Kunstnerforbundet in 1946. She also took part in Høstutstillingen twenty-five times, and was represented in collective exhibitions in other Nordic countries.During the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany Greve was imprisoned in Grini concentration camp from June 1942 to the war's end in May 1945.

Jørgen Dobloug (23 April 1945 – 16 January 2018) was a Norwegian artist based in Düsseldorf and Oslo.He studied at the Allgemeine Gewerbeschule Basel, Switzerland (1969) in the class of Armin Hofmann and Staatliche Kunstakademie Düsseldorf, Germany (1971 – 84), in the classes of Professor Joseph Beuys, Daniel Hees and Franz Eggenschwiler. Dobloug is an important Norwegian artist, who left Norway and what be believed to be a rigid educational system for performing arts, to find his own way. Dobloug’s works have been shown in a large number of exhibitions, in Norway and abroad.His works are mainly acrylic paintings displaying either abstract motifs or heads/faces. They are humorous, partly with contradictory elements in respect of both motif, composition and colours. The works span from strict geometric paintings including grid-patterns, to playful paintings executed with a rough, almost expressive, brush. There is furthermore conceptual side to Dobloug’s project.
His works are part of international art collections as Nasjonalmuseet, Museum Kunstpalast, Henie-Onstad Kunstsenter, Lillehammer Kunstmuseum, Svensk Konstfond, Tangen-Samlingen, Telenor Art Collection, Storebrand Art Collection, Christian Bjellands kunstsamling or the art collection of NSB.Dobloug was granted the Norwegian Government Grant for Artists from 1995.

Jan Valentin Sæther (18 March 1944 – 11 January 2018) was a Norwegian figurative painter, sculptor and gnostic priest. He was professor of figurative painting at the National Academy of the Arts in Oslo between 1996 and 2002.
Sæther received his education from the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry (1963–65) and the Norwegian National Academy of Fine Arts, painting under the direction of professor Reidar Aulie (1965–66) and sculpture under professor Per Palle Storm (1968–71). He has presented numerous exhibitions, mainly in Norway and California.
Sæther debuted in the prestigious Kunstnerforbundet in 1972, but prior to that he had participated in group the exhibitions "Spring Exhibition", Kunstnernes Hus 1968, "Figurative painting from the 1960s", Oslo Kunstforening (Oslo Arts Society) 1970 and "Romantik, realisme", Oslo Kunstforening 1971. During this period he went by the name Jan Isak Sæther.
In 1973 he moved to Los Angeles, California. In addition to his work as an artist he ran several art schools during his 22 years there. Sæther moved back to Oslo in 1995. Between 1995 and 1996 he worked as amanuensis in charge of the models institute at the Oslo National Academy of the Arts. In 1996 he was contracted as professor of figurative painting there following a contentious and much publicized hiring process where the only competition that was to be considered qualified was his youth friend Odd Nerdrum. Following the hiring of Sæther in the professorship connected to figurative painting and sculptor Istvan Lisztes in the professorship connected to figurative sculpture, the emotions calmed down.
