Éric Rochant (born 24 February 1961) is a French film director and screenwriter. He is an alumnus of the IDHEC (FEMIS) from the generation of Arnaud Desplechin and Noémie Lvovsky. Rochant is of Jewish background.

Alain_Corneau

Alain Corneau (7 August 1943 – 30 August 2010) was a French film director and writer.
Corneau was born in Meung-sur-Loire, Loiret. Originally a musician, he worked with Costa-Gavras as an assistant, which was also his first opportunity to work with the actor Yves Montand, with whom he would collaborate three times later in his career, including Police Python 357 (1976) and La Menace (1977). He directed Gérard Depardieu in the screen adaptation of Tous les matins du monde in 1991.
Corneau died in Paris on 30 August 2010 from cancer, aged 67 and was interred at Père Lachaise Cemetery.

Maurice_Lemaître

Maurice Lemaître (aka Moïse Maurice Bismuth) (23 April 1926, Paris - 2 July 2018) was a French Lettrist painter (known for his use of Hypergraphy), filmmaker, writer and poet. Lemaître was Isidore Isou's right-hand man for nearly half a century, but began to distancing himself from Lettrism in the 2000s.Lemaître's paintings, films, photographs and sculptures have been shown in more than twenty personal exhibits in Europe and The United States. The Pompidou Center has acquired some of his paintings, as well as the Musée d'Art Moderne de Paris, where in 1968, a large retrospective of his pictorial and film works took place. Poems by Lemaître were set to music by Michel Faleze and were sung by Marie-Thérèse Richol-Müller.

Jacques Ertaud (18 November 1924 – 18 November 1995) was a French film director and screenwriter. Along with Marcel Ichac, he co-directed the film Stars at Noon, which entered into the 9th Berlin International Film Festival.

Jacques_Baratier

Jacques Baratier (8 March 1918 – 27 November 2009) was a French film director and screenwriter. He directed 21 films. His film Goha won the Jury Prize at the 1958 Cannes Film Festival. His 1962 film La poupée was entered for the 12th Berlin International Film Festival.Goha was also shown as part of the Cannes Classics section of the 2013 Cannes Film Festival.

Yves Allégret (13 October 1905 – 31 January 1987) was a French film director, often working in the film noir genre. He was born in Asnières-sur-Seine, Hauts-de-Seine and died in Paris.He was an assistant to film directors such as his brother Marc Allégret, Augusto Genina, and Jean Renoir.
