Alexander Herbert Imich (February 4, 1903 – June 8, 2014) was a Polish-American chemist, parapsychologist, zoologist and writer who was the president of the Anomalous Phenomena Research Center in New York City. He was born in 1903 in Częstochowa, Poland (then part of the Russian Empire) to a Jewish family.
Imich, a supercentenarian, also became the oldest living man at age 111 after the death of almost 112-year-old Arturo Licata, of Italy, on April 24, 2014. Until his own death a little more than a month later, aged 111 years and 124 days, Imich was certified by Guinness World Records as the world's oldest living man.
Imich was also the last surviving veteran of the Polish-Soviet War.

Barbara Funkhouser (March 1, 1930 – August 15, 2014) was an American journalist, newspaper editor, and writer. Funkhouser was the first woman to serve as editor of the El Paso Times, a position she held from 1980 until 1986.

José Sulaimán Chagnón (May 30, 1931 – January 16, 2014) was a Mexican boxing official. He was the president of the World Boxing Council.

Benjamín Galván Gómez (10 June 1972 – 28 February 2014) was a Mexican businessman and politician of the Institutional Revolutionary Party (PRI). He was the mayor of Nuevo Laredo, Tamaulipas, from 1 January 2011 to 30 September 2013. His political projects focused on promoting education, improving the standards of living, and in bringing back a sense of public security to the citizens of the city. He also owned the newspapers Primera Hora and Última Hora. During his mayoral administration in Nuevo Laredo, Galván received numerous threats from organized crime. Five months after his term, he was kidnapped and killed by alleged members of the Los Zetas crime syndicate.

Carmen Alardín (5 July 1933 – 10 May 2014) was a Mexican poet. She was known for her poems such as La violencia del otoño (The Violence of Fall) and No pude detener los elefantes (You Can't Detain Elephants). Alardín specialized in German literature. She studied at National Autonomous University of Mexico.

Lucilla Morlacchi (29 April 1936 – 13 November 2014) was an Italian film, television and stage actress.
Born in Milan in 1936, Morlacchi studied at the Accademia dei Filodrammatici and made her theatrical debut in 1956 in the comedy play Il maggiore Barbara, with the stage company of Ernesto Calindri and Lina Volonghi.On stage she worked with notable directors such as Luchino Visconti and Sergio Castellitto. In films, she was often cast in character roles, and may be best-remembered as "Concetta" in The Leopard.

Rolf Ramm Østgaard (15 January 1923 – 8 November 2014) was a Norwegian architect.

Annæus Schjødt (13 February 1920 – 4 November 2014) was a Norwegian barrister.

Knut Nystedt (3 September 1915 – 8 December 2014) was a Norwegian orchestral and choral composer.
