Ana Brenda Contreras Pérez (born 24 December 1986), also known as Ana Breco, is a Mexican actress.From 2010 to 2011, she played Aurora Alcázar in the telenovela Teresa. From 2018 to 2019, Contreras starred as Cristal Jennings in The CW's series Dynasty, a reboot of the 1980s series of the same name.

Rocío Colette Acuña Calzada (born June 3, 1982 in Ciudad Victoria, Tamaulipas, Mexico), known as Colette, is a singer who finished as runner-up in the 5th series of the Mexican singing show La Academia in 2007 behind the winner Samuel Castelan Marini.Colette was selected to perform in La Academia after at the fifth attempt, having not been selected for the previous 4 series. She was the first singer in the fifth series to receive standing ovation, when she sang a Spanish interpretation of Frank Sinatra's "My Way". She performed a duet with her mother Leonor Calzada in the same show.
At La Academia she also sang "Coming Out of the Dark" by Gloria Estefan, "El Amor Coloca" from Monica Naranjo "Malo" from Bebe and "La Cima del Cielo" from Venezuelan singer and composer Ricardo Montaner.

Amalia González Caballero de Castillo Ledón (1898 - 1986) was a Mexican diplomat, cabinet minister, minister plenipotentiary, writer, and the first female member of a presidential cabinet. She distinguished herself for fighting for women rights including her efforts to secure women's voting rights in 1952.
Castillo Ledon studied at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She was founder and chair of Club Internacional de Mujeres (1932) and the Ateneo Mexicano de Mujeres (1937). She also founded the Teatro de Masas. She was associated with the journal Hogar and was a columnist for Excelsior. Since 2012, her remains rest in the Rotonda de las Personas Ilustres.
Rafael Gómez Ortega, (1882 – 1960) also known as El Gallo ("the rooster") was an early twentieth century bullfighter. He came from a family of famous bullfighters, including his matador father, Fernando Gómez García and matador younger brother, José Gómez Ortega. He is today remembered for several of his unique fighting techniques such as the espantada - or "sudden flight", which simply consisted of him fleeing when the bull entered the ring. Other techniques included fighting bulls from a chair.
His fights were considered amusing to audiences, and he was brought out of retirement seven times because of this "sportsmanship". He finally retired on October 4, 1936. Commentators find that his intermittent fear of the bulls was characteristic of his style, noting that he was often brave when it suited him, and gave in to panic when it did not.Ortega later wasted his fortune, and was supported by Juan Belmonte. He was briefly married to Pastora Imperio, a famous flamenco dancer.He died on 25 May 1960 at the age of 77.

Marcial Maciel Degollado (March 10, 1920 – January 30, 2008) was a Mexican Catholic priest who founded the Legion of Christ and the Regnum Christi movement. He was general director of the Legion from 1941 to 2005. Throughout most of his career, he was respected within the church as "the greatest fundraiser of the modern Roman Catholic church" and as a prolific recruiter of new seminarians. Late in his life, Maciel was revealed to have been a longtime drug addict who sexually abused many boys and young men in his care. After his death, it came to light that he had also maintained sexual relationships with at least four women, one of whom was a minor at the time. He fathered as many as six children, two of whom he is alleged to have sexually abused.In 2006, Pope Benedict XVI removed Maciel from active ministry, based on the results of an investigation that he had started in his previous role as head of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith before his election as Pope in April 2005. Maciel was ordered "to conduct a reserved life of prayer and penance, renouncing every public ministry". He died in 2008. On March 25, 2010, a communiqué on the Legion's website acknowledged as factual the "reprehensible actions" by Maciel, including sexual abuse of minor seminarians. In May 2010, the Vatican denounced Maciel's actions and appointed a Papal Delegate to oversee the order and its governance.
Gonzalo Justo Facio Segreda (28 March 1918 – 24 January 2018) was a Costa Rican lawyer, politician, and diplomat.
Facio was born in San José on 28 March 1918 to Gonzalo Facio Ulloa and María Teresa Segreda Solera.He studied law at the University of Costa Rica and New York University. He served on the Founding Junta of the Second Republic and was a founding member of the National Liberation Party. Between 1953 and 1956, he was President of the Legislative Assembly of Costa Rica.Facio first became Costa Rican ambassador to the United States in 1956, and held the post for two years. He returned to the position in 1962, serving through 1966. He was named foreign minister in 1970, and was succeeded by Rafael Ángel Calderón Fournier in 1978. From 1990 to 1994, he was again ambassador to the United States. In 1998, he was appointed ambassador to Mexico, and stepped down in 2001.He was married three times. He had three children (Sandra, Alda and Rómulo) from his first wife, María Lilia Montejo Ortuño. From his second wife, Ana Franco Calzia, he had three more children (Ana Catalina, Giannina and Carla). From his third wife Julia Nubia Salmerón Mejía he had no offspring.Facio died at the age of 99 on 24 January 2018 in Escazu.
