Ludmilla Tchérina (born Monique Tchemerzine; 10 October 1924 – 21 March 2004) was a French prima ballerina and actress.

Théophile Barrau (1848–1913) was a French sculptor.
Barrau was born in Carcassonne. He was a student of Alexandre Falguière and started at the Salon in 1874. He received awards in 1879, 1880, 1889, and became a Chevalier of the Legion of Honor in 1892. He died in Paris.

Paul Belmondo (8 August 1898 – 1 January 1982) was a French sculptor. He is the father of the actor Jean-Paul Belmondo.

Germaine Richier (16 September 1902 – 21 July 1959) was a French sculptor.Born in Grans, Richier began her studies at the Ecole des Beaux Arts in Montpellier, in the atelier of Louis-Jacques Guigues; in 1926 she went to work with Antoine Bourdelle, remaining in his studio until his death in 1929. There she became acquainted with Alberto Giacometti, although the two were never close. Richier for her part was more interested in a classical approach to sculpture, preferring to work from a live model and then reworking the final product. She also met César Baldaccini at this stage in her career. She married Otto Bänninger on 12 December 1929. In 1936, she won the Prix Blumenthal. During the war, she met Marino Marini, in exile in Switzerland.

Jean-Antoine Injalbert (1845–1933) was a much-decorated French sculptor, born in Béziers.

Albert Féraud (26 November 1921 in Paris – 11 January 2008 in Bagneux) was a French sculptor, author of sans titre exposed at the Musée de la Sculpture en Plein Air in Paris and friend of French painter Annick Gendron.

Louis Bancel (26 September, 1926 – 2 December, 1978) was a French sculptor born in Saint-Julien-Molin-Molette.
He was the husband of Chantal Bancel. He is the father of linguist Pierre Bancel, musician Marie Bancel, historian Nicolas Bancel and computer scientist Renaud Bancel.

Jean-Robert Ipoustéguy ((1920-01-06)January 6, 1920 – (2006-02-08)February 8, 2006), a figurative French sculptor, was born "Jean Robert" in Dun-sur-Meuse. His artwork had a distinct style, combining abstract elements with the human figure, often in the écorché style of French anatomists. The American writer John Updike once wrote that he "may be France's foremost living sculptor, but he is little known in the United States".: 157  He and other critics noted sharp contrasts between rough and smooth, abstract and realistic, tender and violent, delicate and crude, and many other paired oppositions in his artwork, and his recurrent themes of sex, birth, growth, decay, death, and resurrection.: 158–171 
Ipoustéguy was unafraid to depict emotional intensity in a sometimes controversial way; several of his major commissioned works were rejected, but later installed as planned, or in other locations.

Gérard Garouste (born 10 March 1946) is a French contemporary artist having the primary field of work as visual and performative domain.Since 1979, he has lived and worked in Marcilly-sur-Eure in Normandy, where he founded an educational and social action group to help children with art called La Source.
He has been married to designer Élisabeth Garouste since 1969.

Martial Raysse (born 12 February 1936 in Golfe-Juan) is a French artist and actor. He lives in Issigeac, France. He holds the record for the most expensive work sold by a living French artist.
