20th-century French sculptors

Étienne Martin (4 February 1913 – 21 March 1995) was a French non-figurative sculptor.

Jean Cardot (20 July 1930 – 13 October 2020) was a French sculptor, born in Saint-Étienne, France. He is known for his monumental sculptures that depict political figures and that are designed to complement particular architectural settings (e.g. museums, promenades, public squares).

Charles René de Paul de Saint-Marceaux (23 September 1845 – 23 April 1915) was a French sculptor.

Raymond Duchamp-Villon (5 November 1876 – 9 October 1918) was a French sculptor.

Léon-Joseph Chavalliaud (French pronunciation: [leɔnʒozɛf ʃavaljo]; 29 January 1858 – 5 February 1919) was a French sculptor. He created several notable works in France and in England, where he lived for 15 years.

Louis Botinelly (26 January 1883 – 28 March 1962) was a French sculptor.

François-Raoul Larche (1860 in Saint-André-de-Cubzac – 1912 in Paris) was a French Art Nouveau sculptor whose work included several figures of Christ, but who may be better known for his numerous female figures, both nude and draped.
He was one of several artists inspired by the dancer Loie Fuller; one of his best-known statues depicts Fuller dancing with part of her drapery billowing above and behind her head like a flame.
Another well-known sculpture, Les Violettes, depicts a group of nude children with an older girl who may be their mother or older sister. Their bodies are entwined with flower stems and leaves and they are all wearing petal bonnets, suggesting that they are meant to represent the spirits of flowers.

Robert Delandre (6 October 1879, Elbeuf - 2 June 1961, Paris) was a French sculptor. He was a student of Alexandre Falguière and Denys Puech.

Robert Couturier (2 May 1905 – 1 October 2008) was a French sculptor. He was born in Angoulême.

Christian Liberté Boltanski (6 September 1944 – 14 July 2021) was a French sculptor, photographer, painter, and film maker. He is best known for his photography installations and contemporary French conceptual style.
