Luisa Revilla (12 October 1971 – 15 April 2021) was a Peruvian politician and LGBT activist. A member of the Movimiento Regional para el Desarrollo con Seguridad y Honradez (MDSH) party, she served as Provincial Mayor of Trujillo from 2015 to 2018.

Etienne_Schouppe

Etienne Adolf Schouppe (born 24 July 1942 in Denderleeuw) is a Belgian politician. He is a member of the Christen-Democratisch en Vlaams party. Before his entry into politics, he was executive manager of the National Railway Company of Belgium. Schouppe was a member of the Belgian Senate from 2003 to 2010 and since 2008 the State Secretary for Mobility. At the local level Schouppe was mayor of Liedekerke for eleven years. In 2010 he retired from politics. In 2010 he was also accused of insider trading for having sold KBC and Dexia shares with special information.

Ladislas_de_Hoyos

Count Ladislas de Hoyos (Ladislaus Alfons Konstantin Heinrich Johannes de Hoyos, French pronunciation: [ladislɑ d(ə) wajo]; 27 March 1939 – 8 December 2011), born into the Austro-Hungarian House of Hoyos, was a French TV journalist and politician.
Hoyos was a news broadcaster for TF1 and an investigative journalist. In 1972, in Bolivia, he unmasked with Nazi hunter Beate Klarsfeld the Nazi war criminal Klaus Barbie who was hiding in this country under the false identity of Klaus Altmann. He covered in 1987 the trial of Barbie in Lyon and wrote a book about it.
In 1991, Ladislas de Hoyos left the 8pm news program of TF1. He was replaced by the French journalist Claire Chazal. In 1997, he worked at Radio France Inter to produce the history magazine The Days of the Century.
In 2001 he was elected mayor of Seignosse, Landes, position he held until his death. In July 2006, he was appointed Chevalier of the Légion d'honneur.
In 1975, he married Corinne Meilhan-Bordes, air hostess at Air France with whom he had two daughters, Amelie and Charlotte. In 1991 he met Magali Fernández-Salazar, young Neuroscientist, Philosopher and former Journalist at Radio France Internationale, with whom he began a relationship that lasted until the end of his life.
He died on 8 December 2011 in Seignosse, where he is buried.

Sir_Joseph_Beecham,_1st_Baronet

Sir Joseph Beecham, 1st Baronet (8 June 1848 – 23 October 1916) was a British businessman.
Beecham was the eldest son of Thomas Beecham and Jane Evans. He played a large part in the growth and expansion of his father's medicinal pill business which he joined in 1866. He was responsible for Beechams' factory and office in Westfield Street, St. Helens, being built in 1885. A factory was subsequently opened in New York followed by more factories and agencies in several other countries. The increasing demands placed on him by his father's business meant he had to step down from his position as the parish organist of St John the Evangelist, Ravenhead.
Beecham was the proprietor of the Aldwych Theatre in London, a justice of the peace for Lancashire and was mayor of St. Helens between 1889 and 1899 and again from 1910 to 1912. He was made a baronet, of Ewanville in the Parish of Huyton in the County Palatine of Lancaster, in 1914. He was invested as a Knight of the Order of Saint Stanislaus by Tsar Nicholas II. Beecham was a patron of the arts and purchased a number of paintings by J. M. W. Turner. Beecham married Josephine Burnett in 1873.

Marie_Baum

Marie Baum (23 March 1874 – 8 August 1964), was a German politician of the German Democratic Party (DDP) and social activist. She was one of the first female members of the Weimar National Assembly. She was a pioneer within German welfare and workers security.
Marie Baum was born in Danzig, West Prussia, German Empire (Gdańsk, Poland). She studied chemistry at the University of Zürich, where she met Ricarda Huch. From 1897 to 1899 she worked at the ETH Zürich, afterwards she moved to Berlin, where she started to engage in politics and social welfare in 1902. In 1919, representing the German Democratic Party, she was elected a member of the Weimar National Assembly for Schleswig-Holstein.

Antonie_Pfülf

Antonie "Toni" Pfülf (14 December 1877 – 8 June 1933) was a German politician of the Social Democratic Party (SPD). An advocate of equal rights for women, she was a member of the Reichstag from 1920 to 1933 and one of the most prominent women in her party. After the Nazi rise to power, she voted against the Enabling Act of 1933. Refusing to admit defeat and flee the country, she committed suicide in June.

Ana_María_Sánchez_de_Ríos

Ana María Liliana Sánchez Vargas de Ríos (born 28 January 1959) is a Peruvian diplomat. She has a degree in law from the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru and a licentiate in International Relations from the Diplomatic Academy of Peru. She was the country's Minister of Foreign Affairs from 2 April 2015 to 28 July 2016.
