Blanca_Magrassi_Scagno

Blanca Margarita Magrassi Scagno (November 29, 1923 – October 9, 2015) was a Mexican women's rights activist, civil and pro-democracy activist, politician and leading figure within the National Action Party (PAN). Magrassi Scagno, the wife and political partner of Luis H. Álvarez, the former President of the National Action Party, served as a member of PAN's national executive committee from 1988 to 1990. She was considered a moral authority within PAN and Mexican politics.

Kjell_Noreik

Kjell Noreik (28 July 1929 – 1 January 2015) was a Norwegian physician. He was born in Oslo. He was appointed professor of social medicine at the University of Oslo from 1986 to 1999. He was frequently used as an expert forensic psychiatrist, and was a member of the Norwegian Board of Forensic Medicine. He resided at Slependen.

Tom_Moore_(cartoonist)

Tom Moore (1928 – July 20, 2015) was an American cartoonist and member of National Cartoonists Society, known for his work on the Archie Comic Book series in the late 1950s, and then again in the late 1980s.Moore was born in El Paso, Texas, and was a 1946 graduate of Austin High School in El Paso. He began drawing cartoons while serving in the United States Navy during the Korean War. He attended the University of Texas at El Paso, the American Academy of Art in Chicago, and the Cartoonists and Illustrators School (renamed the School of Visual Arts in 1956) in New York, the latter funded by the G.I. Bill. Some of his instructors during that time were Tom Gill and Tarzan comic strip illustrator Burne Hogarth. Moore was the Staff Cartoonist in the Texas Navy at Corpus Christi. After his discharge, he married his wife, Ruth, and they lived on Long Island for eight years. During this time he freelanced for Archie Comics, primarily working on Archie's Joke Book, and collaborated with other Archie creators such as George Gladir, Orlando Busino, Sy Reit, and Frank Doyle.In 1961, Moore moved his family back to El Paso. There he created the Chick Call strip feature which appeared worldwide in American Armed Forces publications. He did other local freelance work and assisted Fred Lasswell on the Snuffy Smith comic strip, until 1964 when he took a full-time job as Director of PR and Advertising for Mutual Savings & Loan, run by his father. He resumed freelance cartooning in 1970, but it wasn't until the late 1980s that he returned to Archie Comics, initially as the inker for the launch of the second volume of the Jughead title.During his time at Archie, Moore also did freelance inking for Spotlight Comics on their Underdog and Mighty Mouse titles.After he retired in 1988, he taught at El Paso Community College for a number of years.
Moore died in El Paso on July 20, 2015, from throat cancer at the age of 86.

Knut Torvald Giæver (10 June 1926 – 4 March 2015) was a Norwegian publisher.
He was born in Oslo, and was a brother of Jo Giæver Tenfjord. He was assigned director of the book sales club Den norske Bokklubben from 1964 to 1991. During his period the number of club members (including subsidiaries) reached about 600,000. He chaired Norske Siviløkonomers Forening from 1970 to 1974, and has been chairman of the board of Norsk Form, and board member of Nationaltheatret.He died on 4 March 2015.

Dora_van_der_Groen

Dora van der Groen (10 March 1927 – 8 November 2015) was a Belgian actress and theatre director.She appeared in more than 120 films and television shows between 1945 and 2003. She played Vrouw Coene in Wij, Heren van Zichem and starred in the 1975 film Dokter Pulder zaait papavers, which was entered into the 26th Berlin International Film Festival. She spent her later years in a nursing home, and died in 2015 at the age of 88.

James_"Red"_Duke

James Henry "Red" Duke, Jr. (November 16, 1928 – August 25, 2015) was a trauma surgeon and professor at The University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and Memorial Hermann-Texas Medical Center, where he worked on-site since 1972. He was instrumental in introducing Memorial Hermann's Life Flight program and bringing a level I trauma center to Houston.
Duke had a nationally syndicated television spot called Texas Health Reports or Dr. Red Duke's Health Reports, which aired on local television stations in the United States for fifteen years.

Tancred_Ibsen,_Jr.

Tancred Ibsen Jr. (6 July 1921 – 11 February 2015) was a Norwegian diplomat.
He was born in Kristiania as a son of Tancred Ibsen and Lillebil Ibsen. He was the great-grandson of both playwright Henrik Ibsen and Nobel Prize laureate Bjørnstjerne Bjørnson. He had two daughters, Nora Ibsen and Hedda Ibsen. He finished Oslo Commerce School in 1939 before taking the cand.oecon. degree in 1943 and the cand.jur. degree in 1946. He started working for the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 1947, and was promoted to assistant secretary in 1960. He held various positions between 1962 and 1968, before serving as the Norwegian ambassador to Hungary from 1968 to 1973, to Egypt from 1973 to 1979, to the People's Republic of China from 1979 to 1982, to India from 1982 to 1986 and to Greece from 1986 to 1989.While serving in India he also covered Sri Lanka and the Maldives.He was decorated as a Commander of the Order of St. Olav. After retiring he settled in Lillesand.
