Enore Boscolo (Italian pronunciation: [ˈɛːnore ˈboskolo; ˈbɔs-]; 18 July 1929 – 14 April 2023) was an Italian professional footballer who played as a midfielder, spending ten seasons (220 games, 53 goals) in the Serie A for U.S. Triestina Calcio, A.C. Torino, A.S. Roma, Lanerossi Vicenza and Calcio Padova.
Henri Deglane (22 June 1902 – 7 July 1975) was a French wrestler. He was an Olympic Champion in Greco-Roman wrestling and AWA World Champion.In May 1931, Deglane faced Ed "Strangler" Lewis for the AWA World Heavyweight Championship in Montreal in a two-out-of-three falls match. After two falls, Deglane had feigned being bitten by Lewis, when in reality he had been bitten in the locker room. This led to Deglane being awarded the title via disqualification and a dispute over who was actually acknowledged as champion over the next two years.In 1933, Raoul Paoli, a French rugby player and all-round athlete, helped Deglane, his friend, to popularize professional wrestling in France. In 1933 the two men co-founded the FFCP.In July 1937 in Paris, France, Deglane lost his European Heavyweight Championship title to American Al Pereira.He was inducted into the Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame in 2013 for his accomplishments in professional wrestling.
Sylvie Jung Henrotin (née Jung; French pronunciation: [silvi ɑ̃ʁɔˈtɛ̃] German pronunciation: [jʊŋ];10 July 1904 – 15 December 1970) was a French tennis player who was active during the late 1920 and the 1930s. She had her best results in the doubles event, finishing runner-up in seven Grand Slam doubles and mixed-doubles competitions.
She participated in the singles event of the Wimbledon Championships from 1930 to 1939, and her best result during this period was reaching the fourth round in 1933 and 1939. Henrotin also took part in the French Championships, reaching the quarterfinals in the singles on five occasions (1929, 1935, 1936, 1937, 1938).
She was a runner-up in the singles event of the 1933 German Championships after losing the final in straight-sets loss to Hilde Krahwinkel.
In August 1936, she won the singles title at the Eastern Grass Court Championships in Rye, New York with victories against Alice Marble and Helen Pedersen in the semifinals and final respectively. In January 1937, she won the singles, doubles and mixed-doubles title at the U.S. Indoor Championships.
Chris Bearde (18 June 1936 – 23 April 2017) was a British-born comedy writer, producer and director best known for his work as a writer on Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In and for co-writing and producing television specials for Elvis Presley, Bob Hope, Sonny & Cher, Bill Cosby, Steve Martin, Jim Carrey, Andy Williams, The Jackson 5, The Osmonds, Dinah Shore, Diana Ross, and Lucille Ball. He also created the format for the original Gong Show and a number of network and pay-cable comedy series including That's My Mama and Sherman Oaks.
Priyanka Gandhi Vadra (née Gandhi; born 12 January 1972) is an Indian politician and the general secretary of the All India Congress Committee. She is the daughter of former Prime Minister of India Rajiv Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi, sister of Rahul Gandhi, and granddaughter of Feroze and Indira Gandhi, making her a member of the politically prominent Nehru-Gandhi family. Archie Macdonald Fisher (born 23 October 1939) is a Scottish folk singer and songwriter. He has released several solo albums since his first, eponymous album, in 1968. Fisher composed the song "The Final Trawl", recorded on the album Windward Away, that several other groups and singers, including The Clancy Brothers, have also recorded. Starting in the mid-1970s, he produced four folk albums with Makem and Clancy. He also performed with them and other groups as a backup singer and guitarist. He hosted his own radio show on BBC Radio Scotland for almost three decades.
