Frank W. Patrick (October 3, 1915 – September 26, 1992) was an American football player who played two seasons with the Chicago Cardinals of the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted by the Cardinals in the third round of the 1938 NFL Draft. He played college football at the University of Pittsburgh and attended Roosevelt High School in East Chicago, Indiana. Patrick was head coach of the Puget Sound Loggers from 1946 to 1948. He was also an assistant coach for the Penn State Nittany Lions from 1949 to 1973.

Howard Edward "Red" Maley (December 6, 1921 – June 20, 1987), was an American football back and punter in the National Football League (NFL). Drafted in 1944, Maley played for two seasons from 1946 to 1947 for the Boston Yanks. Maley played college football at Texas–Arlington and Southern Methodist University.

Charles H. Mitchell (born May 25, 1940) is an American former academic administrator and professional American football player. He was the president of the Seattle Central Community College from 1987 to 2003 and the chancellor of the Seattle Community Colleges District from 2003 to 2008.

William Jarrel Cross (May 3, 1929 – July 5, 2013) was a professional American football player who played running back for three seasons for the Chicago Cardinals. He finished his career as an all-star in the Interprovincial Rugby Football Union with the Toronto Argonauts in 1954. He died in Canadian, Texas in 2013.

Amos Marsh, Jr. (May 7, 1939 – November 2, 1992) was a professional American football running back in the National Football League (NFL) for the Dallas Cowboys and Detroit Lions. He played college football at Oregon State University.

Paul F. Barry (August 7, 1926 – December 28, 2014) was an American football running back in the National Football League for the Los Angeles Rams, Washington Redskins, and Chicago Cardinals. He played college football at the University of Tulsa and was drafted in the thirteenth round of the 1949 NFL Draft.

Wilford Parley "Whizzer" White (September 26, 1928 – August 1, 2013) was an American football halfback in the National Football League (NFL) for the Chicago Bears. He also was a member of the Toronto Argonauts in the Canadian Football League (CFL). He was drafted by the Chicago Bears in the third round of the 1951 NFL Draft. He played college football at Arizona State University and became the school's first College Football All-American.

James Lloyd Otis (born April 29, 1948) is an American former professional football player who was a running back in the National Football League (NFL) for nine seasons during the 1970s. Otis played college football for Ohio State University, and was recognized as an All-American. He played professionally for the New Orleans Saints, Kansas City Chiefs and St. Louis Cardinals of the NFL.

David Marquette Kopay (born June 28, 1942) is a former American football running back in the National Football League (NFL) who in 1975 became one of the first professional athletes to come out as gay.
