Olympic equestrians for France

Bernard Chevallier (4 October 1912 – 6 April 1997 was a French equestrian and Olympic champion. He won an individual gold medal in eventing at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London.

André Jousseaume (27 July 1894 in Yvré-l'Évêque – 26 May 1960 in Chantilly) was a French equestrian and Olympic champion. He won a gold medal in team dressage at the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, and another gold medal at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London.

Alexandra Ledermann (born 14 May 1969) is a French equestrian and Olympic medalist. She won a bronze medal in show jumping at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.Ledermann was born in Évreux in 1969. In 1999, she became the first woman to win gold at the European Show Jumping Championships. As of 2019, Ledermann and Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum of Germany were the only two women to have won this title.Ledermann lends her name to a series of equestrian-themed video games.
