Charles Pozzi (27 August 1909 – 28 February 2001) was a French racing driver who participated in one World Championship Formula One race in 1950, the year of its inception.

Thierry Vincent Moscato, known as Vincent Moscato (born 28 July 1965, in Paris) is a former French rugby union player as well as radio talk host and actor.
Moscato played as a hooker. He won the French Top 14 title with CA Bordeaux-Bègles Gironde in 1991, and he earned his first international cap on 22 June 1991 against Romania at Bucharest. He was sent off during a match against England at Parc des Princes in 1992 and never played for France again.

Lionel Cappone (born February 8, 1979) is a French former professional football player who played as a goalkeeper.
Born in Marignane, a suburb of Marseille, he began his career at his local club, Olympique de Marseille. However, after several seasons without playing a single match, he joined Besançon RC, where he played every match in the 2002–03 Ligue 2 season.
Moving to another Ligue 2 club, Dijon FCO, he played just three matches in the 2003–04 season before moving to Angers SCO.
He moved to Ligue 1 club FC Lorient ahead of the 2006–07 season, where he was handed the number 1 shirt.
Cappone's debut for Lorient came on Saturday, October 28, 2006, when he was brought on 12 minutes into Lorient's match against Valenciennes FC to replace the injured Fabien Audard. However, it lasted all of 12 minutes; after taking down an opposing striker, he was sent off and had to be replaced by midfielder Ulrich Le Pen, who make a few very good saves in Lorient's 1–0 shutout victory.In July 2011 signed a two-year contract with Stade Brestois.

Éric Yves Di Meco (born 7 September 1963) is a French former professional footballer who played as a left back.

Sylvain Calzati (born 1 July 1979 in Lyon) is a former French road bicycle racer, who competed as a professional between 2003 and 2011. He turned professional during the year 2003 with Barloworld, and his biggest success was winning the 8th Stage in the 2006 Tour de France. He also won the Tour de l'Avenir in 2004. He lives in Genay with his wife and daughter. He works as industrial cleaner.

Émile Bongiorni (19 March 1921 – 4 May 1949) was a French association football striker of Italian descent.
He played for RC Paris where he was capped 5 times for France. In 1948, he moved to Torino F.C., with another Frenchman of Italian descent, Roger Grava of CO Roubaix-Tourcoing. They both died in the Superga air disaster on 4 May 1949.

Walter Spanghero (born 21 December 1943) is a former French rugby union footballer. His father, Ferruccio Dante Spanghero, emigrated from Friuli, arriving in France in the 1930s to make a living as a bricklayer. He was a part of the France national team which won the 1968 Grand Slam in the Five Nations. He was also a part of the French side which won the Five Nations in 1967 and 1973. He played for France over 50 times. He played at number 8, lock and flanker. He famously had a very stormy relationship with his brother, Claude, who was also an international rugby player for France.

Philippe Sella (born 14 February 1962, in Tonneins) is French former rugby union player. He started as a rugby league junior in his home town before switching to rugby union. As a former French rugby union player, he held the record for most international appearances until beaten by Jason Leonard. He became a member of the International Rugby Hall of Fame in 1999, and the IRB Hall of Fame in 2008.Sella joined Saracens in 1996 from French side Agen. He and Australian Michael Lynagh were the catalysts for Saracens as they made the transition into the professional era, and Sella's presence helped other players make up their minds about joining the up-and-coming club.
He made a then world record 111 appearances (or caps) for France, and is one of only five players to have scored a try in every game during a Five Nations season.Sella was the linchpin in the midfield where he operated alongside stalwart Steve Ravenscroft. His experience, pace and vision helped Saracens to become a potent force in 1998 and his appetite for defence was amazing.He scored the opening try in the Tetley's Bitter Cup final in the same year, a trademark Sella finish. He showed pace, power and vision to run, swivel and crash over the line with his try then signalling the way for the floodgates to open.
He retired from rugby union later that year at the age of 36 and returned to France with his family.

Joël Cantona (born 26 October 1967) is a French former professional footballer who played as a defender. He is the younger brother of Eric Cantona. Since retiring he has had some minor acting roles.
