Alan Loy McGinnis (10 November 1933 in Friendswood, Texas – 9 January 2005 in Glendale, California) was an author, Christian psychotherapist, and founder and director of the Valley Counseling Center in Glendale, California, United States. He was the minister of Grandview Presbyterian church around 1970.
Today there are over 3 million copies of his books in print. His 1979 book The Friendship Factor has sold over 1,000,000 copies and his 1985 book Bringing Out the Best in People sold over 600,000 copies. His books have been translated into over 14 languages.
His books are characterized by a clear writing style using simple, short sentences.
He was a family therapist, corporate consultant, and speaker to television, radio, and corporate audiences.

David_Chadwick_(physician)

David L. Chadwick (September 12, 1926 – January 19, 2020) was an American clinical and research pediatrician, author, founder of the Chadwick Center for Children and Autism Discovery Institute in San Diego, and director emeritus at Rady Children's Hospital. He became an international pioneer in identifying, treating and preventing child abuse and a recognized expert in the field who started a movement.

David Ball (born June 6, 1984) is a former American football wide receiver. He was signed by the Chicago Bears as an undrafted free agent in 2007. He played college football for the New Hampshire Wildcats, and held the I-AA record for touchdown receptions until 2016 (broken by Cooper Kupp).Ball was also a member of the New York Jets, Montreal Alouettes, Hamilton Tiger-Cats, Winnipeg Blue Bombers, and Philadelphia Eagles.
He is now a PE Teacher at Montpelier High School (Vermont) in Montpelier, VT

Alleen Pace Nilsen is an American literary scholar, linguist, and one of the pioneers of both humor studies and children's literature studies. She is Professor Emeritus in the Department of English at Arizona State University, where she was previously the director of the English Education Program.
Together with her husband Don Nilsen, she co-founded the International Society for Humor Studies.
