Ophélie-Cyrielle Étienne (born 9 September 1990) is a French swimmer from Wissembourg. In the 2012 Summer Olympics her 4 × 200 m freestyle team won a bronze medal in a time of 7:47.49. The split times were: Camille Muffat (1:55.51); Charlotte Bonnet (1:57.78); Étienne (1:58.05); Coralie Balmy (1:56.15).
She also competed in 200 m freestyle, 4 x 200 m freestyle relay and the 4 x 100 m freestyle relay at the 2008 Summer Olympics, and the 200 m freestyle at the 2012 Summer Olympics.

Tom_Gompf

Thomas Eugen Gompf (born March 17, 1939, in Dayton, Ohio) is an American former diver. He represented the United States at the 1964 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, where he received a bronze medal in men's 10 metre platform.Gompf's memoir, "A Life Aloft" was published by CG Sports Publishing in November 2021.

Yvonne_Godard

Yvonne Godard (3 March 1908 – 22 September 1975) was a French swimmer who won a gold and a bronze medal at the 1931 European Championships in the 100 m and 400 m freestyle. She competed in these events at the 1932 Summer Olympics and finished fifth in the 400 m.

Alfred_Nakache

Alfred Nakache (1915–1983) was a Jewish French swimmer and water polo player. A member of the French team for the 1936 Berlin Summer Olympic Games, he also swam in the first post-war Summer Olympics in London in 1948. He and Ben Helfgott are the only known Jewish athletes to have competed in the Olympics after surviving the Holocaust.
