François, Baron Narmon (26 January 1934 – 14 March 2013) was a Belgian businessman and president of Dexia Group and the Belgian Olympic Committee. From 2002 until 2004 he was a member of the International Olympic Committee.
Born in Jette, Narmon obtained a licentiate degree as commercial engineer from the Université libre de Bruxelles (École de commerce Solvay). He lectured on accountancy at the Université libre de Bruxelles and the Vrije Universiteit Brussel, and made the local Gemeentekrediet into the financial enterprise Dexia. He died on 14 March 2013 in Meise.

Michel, Baron D'Hooghe (born 8 December 1945 in Bruges) is a Belgian former member of the FIFA Council and the former Chairman of the FIFA medical committee. D'Hooghe, a medical doctor, was President of the Royal Belgian Football Association (1987-2001) and President of Club Brugge KV (2003-2009). In 2001, he was ennobled as a baron.In August 2011 he admitted that Vyacheslav Koloskov, an adviser for Russia's successful bid for the 2018 World Cup, visited him in his hometown of Bruges and gave him a valuable painting while lobbying for his vote. He has since described the painting as a "poisonous gift" and has notified FIFA officially about it, since its acceptance is in contravention to the FIFA rules that govern lobbying. He stated that he was "never influenced" after his son received a job at a hospital in Doha, Qatar, 8 weeks after Qatar won the bid for the 2022 World Cup.

Frank Bresee (August 20, 1929 – June 5, 2018) was an American radio actor, radio historian, and board game designer. He hosted the "Golden Days Of Radio" program which began in 1949 and aired on the Armed Forces Radio Network from 1967 to 1995. Bresee also created more than a dozen adult-oriented board games, the most notable of which is the drinking game Pass-Out.

Douglas Grey Lewis (born January 18, 1964) is a former World Cup alpine ski racer with the U.S. Ski Team in the mid-1980s.
Born in Middlebury, Vermont, he was a two-time Olympian in 1984 and 1988.After competing in the 1984 Olympics at age 20, Lewis made his World Cup debut a month later in March 1984 with an 8th-place finish at Whistler, BC. The following season, Lewis had two World Cup top ten finishes and was the bronze medalist in the downhill at the 1985 World Championships at Bormio, Italy. He was unknown at that time, and having a bib number behind the best 15 racers he did gatecrash a party of three Swiss racers on the podium (and pushing away Franz Heinzer). His only World Cup podium came six months later, a second-place finish in Las Leñas, Argentina, in August 1985.
Lewis is currently an analyst for alpine ski racing with Universal Sports, and also runs a children's sports camp with locations in Waitsfield, Vermont, and Park City, Utah. He is a 1991 graduate of the University of Vermont.

David B. Rogers (born March 12, 1974) is an American NASCAR crew chief who works as the performance director for 23XI Racing. He previously worked as a crew chief for Joe Gibbs Racing in both the NASCAR Cup and Xfinity Series as well as the technical director for JGR's Xfinity operations. He has over a decade of experience as a crew chief, all with JGR. Over the course of his career, he has worked in the NASCAR Cup Series and Xfinity Series with drivers Jason Leffler, Denny Hamlin, Aric Almirola, Tony Stewart, Travis Kittleson, J. J. Yeley, Kyle Busch, Joey Logano, Brad Coleman, Matt DiBenedetto, Michael McDowell, Carl Edwards, Daniel Suárez, Matt Tifft, Kyle Benjamin, Riley Herbst, and Daniel Hemric. Hemric and Rogers won the 2021 NASCAR Xfinity Series championship.

Sergio Barreda Costa (30 April 1951 – 25 April 2002), known as Gordo Barreda, was a Peruvian surfer and surfboard shaper. He was a four-time Peruvian national champion (1968, 1969, 1970 and 1974), competed internationally, and was one of Peru's first shapers.
Barreda spent his whole life in the Miraflores District of Lima, learning to surf at Club Makaha. His mother Sonia supported his surfing from an early age. A story is told of the school director telling her that Sergio, aged 13, was being distracted and he had to study or surf, not both, and she replied "Sergio will surf."
As a shaper he made boards under the "GB" logo. His surf shop, which started in the garage of his home and with the help of his wife Eva, was the first in the country. He also put together a team of young surfers who competed under his GB logo, a number of whom followed in his footsteps to be Peruvian national champions.In 1979 he discovered the now well-known break of Cabo Blanco in northern Peru.
In 2002 he suffered a heart attack surfing Cerro Azul, and had surgery for it a few days later in Miraflores, but died of a further post-operative heart attack, aged 50. His ashes were spread at sea.
A 2.2 meter statue was unveiled in his honor at Makaha beach in 2020.

Franz Adolf Louis John (born 28 September 1872 in Pritzwalk, died 17 November 1952 in Berlin) was a German football player. He was one of the founders of FC Bayern Munich, and acted as its first president from 1900 to 1903.He was born on 28 September 1872 in Pritzwalk (Brandenburg), the son of Friedrich Wilhelm and Ida John. After moving with his parents to Pankow at the fringe of Berlin, he later joined the football club VfB Pankow. There he met Gustav Manning, who afterwards became secretary of the German Football Association. Manning later helped John to integrate the Munich football clubs into the DFB. After his apprenticeship as a photographer in Jena John moved to Munich where he became a member of MTV 1879 Munich.
When on 27 February 1900 the steering committee of MTV prohibited the football division of its club to join the association of southgerman football clubs (SFV), eleven football players left the club under the lead of Franz John. In the restaurant Gisela they founded the Munich Football Club Bayern and elected Franz John for president. John also founded the council of Bavarian referees.
Under his lead the club joined the SFV still in its first year and quickly became a force in the Munich football scene. In 1903 John left FC Bayern and was succeeded as president by the Dutch Willem Hesselink. John also left Munich in 1904, moving back to Pankow, where he opened a photo laboratory and later became president of his home club VfB Pankow. Despite having few contacts to Munich John was in the 1920s elected as honorary president of the FC Bayern Munich and in 1936 he received the needle of honour in gold from the club.
John died on 17 November 1952 in Pankow aged 80; he had no descendants. Journalist Joachim Rechenberg later traced his lost grave to Fürstenwalde. When in 2000 the FC Bayern celebrated its 100th anniversary, the club recreated the grave and donated a new tombstone to commemorate the merits of Franz John.

Karl Schelenz (or Carl Schelenz, born 6 February 1890 in Berlin; died 7 February 1956) was a German sports teacher. He is famous as the "father" of modern handball.

Joe Dean (April 26, 1930 − November 17, 2013) is known as "Mr. String Music" and was the voice of Southeastern Conference basketball for most of the 1970-80s. In 2012, he was elected to the National Collegiate Basketball Hall of Fame, as a contributor to the game.
