Éric Navet (born 9 May 1959) is a French equestrian and Olympic medalist. He was born in Bayeux. He won a bronze medal in show jumping at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona.He was selected to represent France, in 1990 at the world championships in Stockholm with his young stallion of 8 years old Quito de Baussy, bred by his father at their Haras the Baussy farm in Normandy, and won there both the gold individual and team medals Navet lives in southern California, where he trains World Cup rider Karl Cook, and continues to compete at the national and FEI levels.

Jean-François_d'Orgeix

Jean-François d'Orgeix (French pronunciation: [ʒɑ̃ fʁɑ̃swa dɔʁʒɛks]; 15 April 1921 – 4 July 2006) was a French equestrian, actor and Olympic medalist. He was born in Cap-d'Ail. He competed in show jumping at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London, where he won a bronze medal in the individual contest. He also competed in show jumping at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki and placed fifth with the French team.Under the name of Jean Pâqui he appeared in more than twenty films between 1933 and 1958.

Janou_Lefèbvre

Janou Lefèbvre (later Tissot, born 14 May 1945) is a retired French equestrian show jumper. She competed at the 1964, 1968 and 1972 Olympics and won team silver medals in 1964 and 1968. She won the individual world title in 1970 as Lefèbvre and in 1974 as Tissot, as she got married and changed her surname in between.

André_Jousseaume

André Jousseaume (27 July 1894 in Yvré-l'Évêque – 26 May 1960 in Chantilly) was a French equestrian and Olympic champion. He won a gold medal in team dressage at the 1932 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles, and another gold medal at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London.

Alexandra_Ledermann

Alexandra Ledermann (born 14 May 1969) is a French equestrian and Olympic medalist. She won a bronze medal in show jumping at the 1996 Summer Olympics in Atlanta.Ledermann was born in Évreux in 1969. In 1999, she became the first woman to win gold at the European Show Jumping Championships. As of 2019, Ledermann and Meredith Michaels-Beerbaum of Germany were the only two women to have won this title.Ledermann lends her name to a series of equestrian-themed video games.

Eric Wauters (12 May 1951 – 21 October 1999) was a Belgian equestrian and Olympic medalist. He was born in Antwerp. He competed in show jumping at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, and won a bronze medal with the Belgian team. Wauters committed suicide in his home in 1999.
