Anne Lise Aas (1925–2020) was a Norwegian interior designer who was active in promoting Norway's folk art and its furniture industry. After working with various architects on interior design and furnishings, in 1958 she became an artistic collaborator for the handicrafts association Den Norske Husflidsforening. In 1962, she opened her own workshop, creating furniture, textiles, glassware and lamps. She became particularly adept at designing photographic exhibitions presenting furniture, crafts and housing. Aas also worked as a writer, serving as editor of the furniture manufacturers' journal Corridor in the 1980s. In 1973, she received the country's annual craft award, the Jacob Prize.

Peter Francis McPoland (born November 3, 2000) is an American singer-songwriter and musician. In 2021, McPoland signed with Columbia Records. On August 11, 2023, McPoland released his debut album, Piggy.

Vibeke Vasbo (born 1944) is a Danish writer and women's rights and LGBT rights activist. In the early 1970s, she participated in the Redstocking movement and in the Danish Lesbian Movement. She embarked on a literary career in 1976 with Al den løgn om kvinders svaghed (All those Lies about Women's Weakness) expanding on the work of a woman crane driver, based on her experiences in Oslo in 1974-75.

Lea Bondi, later Lea Jaray or Lea Bondi-Jaray (12 December 1880 – 1969) was an Austrian art dealer and art collector who was forced to emigrate to Great Britain due to Nazi persecution after the annexation of Austria to the Nazi German Reich. The Würthle Gallery, which she ran, was "Aryanized" by Nazis and her art collection, including the Portrait of Wally by Egon Schiele, extorted.

Arturo Pomar Salamanca (1 September 1931 – 26 May 2016) was a Spanish chess player. He was the first Spanish player to be awarded the title of grandmaster (GM), and was a seven-time national champion.

Susanne Young (née Richardson; born October 30, 1956) is an American lawyer and public official who served as the Vermont Attorney General from July 5, 2022 to January 5, 2023. Young was appointed to the position by Governor Phil Scott following the resignation of T. J. Donovan and was the first woman to hold the position.

Her projects range from complete landscape restorations to museum venues that reference painting, sound and photography.Early influences on her work include her interdisciplinary Classical studies at NYU, engagement in activism, as with the Bread and Puppet Theatre, her work in city planning in San Diego County in the 1980s and Vinalhaven Island, Maine in the 1990s, and the merging of science with aesthetics.

Arthur Tien Chin (Chinese: 陳瑞鈿; pinyin: Chén Ruìdiàn, Cantonese: Chan Sui-Tin; October 23, 1913 – September 3, 1997) was a pilot from the United States who participated in the Second Sino-Japanese War. Chin was compelled to defend his father's homeland when Japan invaded China. He was part of the first group of U.S. volunteer combat aviators. Chin is recognized as the United States' first flying ace in World War II.
