Cyril Dessel (born 29 November 1974 in Rive-de-Gier, Loire) is a French former professional road racing cyclist, who competed as a professional from 2000 to 2011.In 2006, he won the Tour Méditerranéen on the UCI Europe Tour. Then in the 2006 Tour de France, he finished second in the tenth stage, taking the leader's yellow jersey for a day and the lead in the King of the Mountains competition; he eventually finished sixth. In 2008, he won the 16th stage of the Tour after being in a chase group most of the day, beating David Arroyo, Yaroslav Popovych and Sandy Casar.
Dessel competed for France at the 2008 Summer Olympics.

Michel Vermeulin (born 6 September 1934) is a former road and track cyclist from France, who won the gold medal in the men's team road race at the 1956 Summer Olympics in Melbourne, Australia, alongside Arnaud Geyre and Maurice Moucheraud. He also won the silver medal in the men's 4.000m team pursuit in the track competition in Melbourne, Australia. Vermeulin was a professional rider from 1958 to 1964.

Robert Varnajo (1 May 1929 – 13 February 2024) was a French professional road bicycle racer. In the first part of his career, Varnajo won some road races, including a stage in the 1954 Tour de France. Later in his career, he specialized in track racing, and became French champion three times.

Joseph Thomin (30 June 1931 – 16 December 2018) was a French professional road bicycle racer, who won one stage of the 1956 Tour de France.

Lucien Teisseire (11 December 1919 – 22 December 2007) was a French professional road bicycle racer. He was born in Saint-Laurent-du-Var, Alpes-Maritimes. He is most known for his bronze medal in the 1948 UCI Road World Championships. He finished second in the 1945 Paris–Roubaix.

Pascal Simon (born 27 September 1956) is a retired French road racing cyclist. A native of Mesnil St. Loup, he was a professional cyclist from 1979 to 1991. Pascal was the oldest of four brothers that all became professional cyclists: Régis, Jerôme and François.
In 1983, Simon obtained the yellow jersey while riding for Cycles Peugeot after the tenth stage of the Tour de France. One day later, Simon fell down and broke his shoulder. Simon continued for six more days, before the injury forced him out of the race.

Tino Sabbadini (Monsempron-Libos, 21 August 1928 — Monsempron-Libos, 7 November 2002) was a French professional road bicycle racer. He won the fourth stage of the 1958 Tour de France.

Laurent Roux (born 3 December 1972 in Cahors) is a French former road bicycle racer.

Louis Rostollan (1 January 1936 – 13 November 2020) was a French professional road bicycle racer.
He was a professional from 1958 until 1967, winning the Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré in 1958 and the Tour de Romandie in 1960 and 1961.
Rostollan died on 13 November 2020 of a lung disease at the age of 84.

Jean-François Rodriguez (born 19 December 1957) is a French former professional racing cyclist. He rode in four editions of the Tour de France and two editions of the Giro d'Italia.
