Riki_Kobayashi
Riki Kobayashi (1924–2013) was a chemical engineer and a long-time professor of chemical engineering at Rice University. A native of Harris County, Texas, he attended Rice University (then known as Rice Institute) and earned the Bachelor of Science in chemical engineering at the age of 19. After serving in the U.S. Army, he went to the University of Michigan, where he earned the Master of Science degree in 1946 and the Doctor of Philosophy degree in 1951, both in chemical engineering. He became a member of the Rice faculty in 1951 and remained there until he retired in 1994. He died July 19, 2013, in Houston, Texas.
Mario_Góngora
Mario Góngora del Campo (June 22, 1915 – November 18, 1985) was a Chilean historian considered "one of the most important Chilean historians of the 20th century". Though his work he examined the history of the inquilinos, the encomentaderos, rural vagabonds and Indian Law (Derecho Indiano). He was in charge of university courses on medieval history.In 1943 Góngora entered to work as teacher at the Pedagogy School (Escuela de Pedagogía) at the Pontifical Catholic University of Chile. There he assisted Jaime Eyzaguirre in the History of Chile (Historia de Chile) classes. Most of the students of the time were priests, nuns and brothers.

Ana Emma del Rosario Cortés Jullian, more commonly known as Ana Cortés (24 August 1895 – 5 January 1998), was a Chilean painter of the Grupo Montparnasse. In 1974, she won the National Prize of Art of Chile, making her the first painter to do so.

According to WorldCat, two of his books are available from more than six hundred major libraries worldwide – Confederate General of the West: Henry Hopkins Sibley, and Civil War in the Southwest: Recollections of the Sibley Brigade.
