Sverre Martin Fjelstad (born 17 October 1930) is a Norwegian zoologist, photographer, non-fiction writer and producer for radio and television. He was born in Oslo. He is probably best known to the public for the series Naturmagasinet, which was aired by the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation between 1966 and 1974.

Haaken_Christensen

Haaken Andreas Christensen (16 February 1924 – 9 April 2008) was a Norwegian art historian, art collector and gallerist.
He was born in Kristiania to Arne Christensen and Ingeborg Wiese.Christensen graduated in art history from the University of Oslo in 1955. He opened his own gallery in Oslo in 1961, Galleri Haaken, which he was running for about forty years. Among his works is his thesis about Gustave Courbet, two books about Olivier Debré, essays on Serge Poliakoff, Horst Janssen and Alfred Manessier, and the memoir book En gallerists erindringer from 1985. He was decorated Knight of the French Ordre des Arts et des Lettres.

Søren_Christian_Sommerfelt

Søren Christian Sommerfelt (9 April 1794 – 29 December 1838) was a Norwegian priest and botanist, best known for his study of spore plants (cryptogams).He was born at Toten in Oppland, Norway. He was the son of County Governor Christian Sommerfelt (1746-1811) and Anna Sophie Hagerup (1775-1821). In 1811, when he was 15 years of age, he became a student at the University of Copenhagen. He first studied theology, but later focused on science. In 1816, he traveled to Oslo to continue his theological studies and earn his theological degree. In 1818 he was appointed parish priest at Saltdal in Nordland where he served until 1824. He was next assigned assistant pastor at Asker parish in Akershus and subsequently he was vicar in Ringebu parish in Oppland.

Jens_von_der_Lippe

Jens von der Lippe (13 October 1911 – 17 June 1990) was a Norwegian ceramist, non-fiction writer and educator. He was born in Christiania, and was a brother of Frits von der Lippe and Just Lippe.
He ran a ceramics workshop in Oslo in cooperation with his wife, Margrethe von der Lippe, and many of their works were co-productions. He lectured at the Norwegian National Academy of Craft and Art Industry from 1939 to 1975. He published the book Stråmønsteret – det udødelige blåmalede in 1983.

Lars_L'Abée-Lund

Lars L'Abée-Lund (22 April 1910 – 17 May 1991) was a Norwegian police officer and judge. He was born in Aker. From 1945 to 1950 L'Abée-Lund was in charge of the department responsible for the Legal purge in Norway after World War II. He served as judge at Eidsivating Court of Appeal from 1968 to 1980. He was decorated Commander of the Swedish Order of Vasa, and Knight, First Class of the Danish Order of the Dannebrog.

Ignacio Eugenio Lozano Jr. (January 15, 1927 – December 27, 2023) was an American diplomat who was United States Ambassador to El Salvador. He was appointed to the ambassadorship by President Gerald Ford in 1976. He resigned the post following the assumption of the presidency by Jimmy Carter. Lozano was born in San Antonio, Texas to Mexican immigrants Ignacio E. Lozano Sr. and Alicia Elizondo Lozano. He studied journalism at University of Notre Dame.From 1953, he was the publisher and editor of La Opinión, a Spanish language newspaper based in Los Angeles that his father founded in 1926. In 1964, President Lyndon B. Johnson appointed Lozano as a consultant to the United States Department of State. He also served on the California advisory committee to the United States Commission on Civil Rights.Lozano held directorships at Bank of America, The Walt Disney Company, Pacific Life, and Sempra Energy, and was a member of the Council of American Ambassadors.

Walter_Fyrst

Walter Fyrst (né Fürst; 6 July 1901 – 23 February 1993) was a Norwegian filmmaker. He was born in Kristiania (now Oslo), the son of the physician Valentin Fürst and Margarethe Christiane Dedekam. His first film was Troll-elgen from 1927, based on two novels by Mikkjel Fønhus. Other films were Cafe X from 1928 and Brudekronen from 1944. Fyrst made propaganda films for the Nazi regime during the occupation of Norway by Nazi Germany.

His biggest hits include "Vlaanderen Boven", "Meisjes", "Je Veux de l'Amour", "Zjoske Schone Meid" and "Liefde voor Muziek". He refers to himself as a musician but also a poet, philosopher and clown.
