Ernesto Palacio (born October 19, 1946, Lima) is a Peruvian tenor, particularly associated with Rossini and Mozart roles.
Palacio first studied theology before turning to music. He began his vocal studies in Milan, and after winning first prize in the "Voci Nuovi Rossiniane" competition organized by RAI in 1972, he made his debut on radio as Lindoro in L'italiana in Algeri.
He quickly sang all over Italy, including at La Scala in Milan and the San Carlo in Naples. He also appeared at the Royal Opera House in London, the Aix-en-Provence Festival, at the Liceo in Barcelona, etc.
He also enjoyed a successful career in North and South America, appearing at the Metropolitan Opera in New York, Houston and Dallas, the Teatro Colón in Buenos Aires, and Caracas.
One of the finest contemporary tenore di grazia, he possesses a
small but well projected voice of considerable range and agility, used
with fine musicianship, excelling in the Rossini-Donizetti-Bellini repertory, but also in Mozart and Cimarosa.
He can be heard on a number of recordings, notably in L'italiana in Algeri, opposite Marilyn Horne, and in Maometto II, opposite June Anderson and Samuel Ramey, both under Claudio Scimone.
He has been lately active as a vocal coach and artist manager, notably of Juan Diego Florez.

Bernard Lenoir (born 13 September 1945) is a former radio presenter.
He was born in Algeria, which he left in 1962, working on the Côte d'Azur as a DJ. He briefly sang in a surf pop group called Les Radis Beurre. Lenoir began on France Inter as a music programmer on veteran presenter José Artur's Pop-Club show. He worked through the late 1970s presenting the rock programme Feedback, and continued on with it into the 1980s.
The show was cancelled after one season and Lenoir transferred to Europe 1. He also appeared on the television programme Les Enfants du rock.
In September 1990, Lenoir resumed broadcasting on France Inter in the evening shift. His programme, which ran until the 2010–2011 season, was first called L'Inrockuptible, after the magazine Les Inrockuptibles, and later renamed C'est Lenoir (This is Lenoir).
He is currently retired in Biarritz, France.

Alain Lambert (French pronunciation: [alɛ̃ lɑ̃bɛʁ]; born 20 July 1946 in Alençon) is a French politician and a notary by profession.
Lambert has been involved in politics since 1983 and has served as a local councillor in Alençon and a councillor on both the department council of Orne (1992–2002) and the regional council of Lower Normandy. Between 7 May 2002 and 30 March 2004 he was France's Finance Minister. In 2009 he attempted to be chosen to head the centre right wing UMP list for the 2010 regional elections and was successful, gaining 54.5% of the votes of party members. However, Lambert was later forced to announce he would not stand, due to disagreements within the party over his candidature.
Ahead of the 2012 presidential election, Lambert endorsed François Bayrou's candidacy as President of France.

Jean-Paul Huchon (French pronunciation: [ʒɑ̃ pɔl yʃɔ̃]; born 29 July 1946) is a French retired civil servant and politician of the Socialist Party (PS) who served as Mayor of Conflans-Sainte-Honorine from 1994 to 2001 and President of the Regional Council of Île-de-France from 1998 until 2015.

Jean-Louis Bourlanges (born 13 July 1946) is a French politician who has represented the 12th constituency of the Hauts-de-Seine department in the National Assembly since 2017. A member of the Democratic Movement (MoDem), he has presided over the Committee on Foreign Affairs of the National Assembly since 2021.
Bourlanges previously served as Member of the European Parliament (MEP) from 1989 to 2007. He was elected on the Union for French Democracy (UDF) list and sat with the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe group.He is a graduate of the Paris Institute of Political Studies (better known as Sciences Po), where he is currently an associate professor.

Jean-Louis Gergorin is a French cybersecurity expert, strategy consultant, former diplomat, and former executive vice president of EADS—the giant European aerospace company that controls and has been subsequently known as Airbus.
He was at the origin of the Clearstream 2 incident in France; a significant occurrence in French political life from 2006 to 2010.
He was later found in this case guilty of slanderous denunciation, and use of forgery.

Jean-Michel Gaillard (May 16, 1946, Pont-Sant-Esprit in Gard, France – July 19, 2005, Paris) was a high-ranking French official. He was, most notably, director general of Antenne 2 (now France 2), from 1989 to 1991.
He was a student of the École normale supérieure de Saint-Cloud, where he received a doctorate in history. As a politician he was a militant socialist, aligned with the likes of François Hollande and Ségolène Royal. He was father to two girls.
Before his death from cancer at the age of 59, he was counsel for the Academy of Television Arts. During the presidency of François Mitterrand, he worked as a senior advisor at the Élysée Palace. As a television script writer he co-wrote the television film Leclerc, a Dream of Indochina with Nicolas Sarkozy, which debuted on France 3 in 2003.
He wrote many works, including a biography of Jules Ferry, published in 1989.

Alain Pellegrini (born 12 August 1946) is a French general.
A former student of the École Spéciale Militaire de Saint-Cyr, Pellegrini graduated from general staff schools before being appointed in Africa and the Middle East, and commanding a regiment of the troupes de marine in Fréjus. He served as adviser to the Defence Minister of Benin, and as the Defence Attaché at the French embassy in Beirut. He took part to both the UNPROFOR and the IFOR in 1995 and 96, and worked for the implementation of the Dayton Agreement in Sarajevo and Mostar.
In 2000, as a colonel, he headed the Africa and Middle East Division at the Direction du Renseignement Militaire (Military Intelligence Directorate) in Paris.
From July 2001, he was counsellor of the Chef d’état-major des armées (CEMA, Chief of Staff of the French army) for Africa and Middle East.
On 26 January 2004, he took command of the UNIFIL, succeeding to General Lalit Mohan Tewari.
On 25 July 2006, a UN observation post was attacked by Israeli forces after Israel claimed that Hezbollah fired rockets from the area. Israeli forces used both artillery and aerial bombardment in the area. A total of four UN observers were killed, one each from China, Canada, Austria, and Finland.Following a number of incidents between UN peacekeepers and Israeli fighter jets, Pellegrini warned that the Israeli flights over Lebanon violated the cease fire resolution, and threatened that force may be used to stop the incursions.
On the 2 February 2007 Pellegrini passed the command of the UNIFIL to the Italian General Claudio Graziano.
Pellegrini also sits on the Atlantic Council's Board of Directors.

Alain Marleix (born on 2 January 1946 in Paris) is a French politician. He was the Secretary of State for Veterans in the government of François Fillon from June 2007 to March 2008. From 2008 to 2010 he is in charge of the redefinition of Boundary delimitation for the elections to the Assemblée Nationale.Alain Marleix began his political career as a vice-representative for Georges Pompidou in the Assembléee Nationale, who was then representative for Saint-Flour in the Cantal. Alain Marleix was initially close to Charles Pasqua. During the 1993 presidential election, he supported Edouard Balladur against Jacques Chirac. Since then, he has been supporting Nicolas Sarkozy.

Jean-David Levitte (born 14 June 1946) is a French diplomat who was France's Permanent Representative to the United Nations from 2000 to 2002 and Ambassador to the United States from 2002 to 2007. He was also a diplomatic advisor and sherpa to presidents Jacques Chirac and Nicolas Sarkozy.
Levitte was born in Moissac, in the south of France. He is a graduate of Sciences Po and of the French National School of Oriental Languages, where he studied Chinese and Indonesian. He is married to Marie-Cécile Jonas and has two daughters.
