Ernest Sterckx (1 December 1922 – 3 February 1975) was a Belgian professional racing cyclist. He won the 1946 Gent-Wevelgem and Omloop Het Nieuwsblad in 1952, 1953 and 1956.In 2023, a statue of him was erected in Heultje, Belgium.

Marcel_Janssens

Marcel Janssens (30 December 1931, in Edegem – 29 July 1992, in Nukerke) was a Belgian professional road bicycle racer. Janssens won two stages in the Tour de France, and finished 2nd place in 1957 after Jacques Anquetil. He also won the 1960 edition of Bordeaux–Paris. He finished third place in the 1959 Paris–Roubaix.

Heidi_Van_De_Vijver

Heidi Van De Vijver (born 31 December 1969) is a Belgian former racing cyclist, who currently works as a directeur sportif for UCI Women's Continental Team Fenix–Deceuninck. She won the Belgian national road race title in 1994 and 1998. She also competed at the 1996 and 2000 Summer Olympics.She was second in the 1992 Tour of the EEC Women and then won the race in 1993.

Wilfried_Peeters

Wilfried Peeters (born 10 July 1964 in Mol) is a former Belgian professional road bicycle racer. Nowadays, he is sportif director of the Quick Step team. During his cycling-career, he was a major help for Johan Museeuw in classics such as the Tour of Flanders and Paris–Roubaix.
