Trine Krogh (18 January 1955 – 3 May 2014) was a Norwegian freestyle, butterfly and medley swimmer. She was born in Oslo, and represented the club Oslo IL. She competed at the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, in 200 m medley and 400 m medley.

Randi Runa Svenkerud Flesland (born 17 November 1955 in Oslo) is a Norwegian civil servant.
Flesland was educated at Trinity College, Dublin, with education in economics, with addition of psychology and pedagogy in the universities of Oslo and Davis, California. She had several leading positions in Norges Statsbaner, for 17 yrs until 2000, such as head of Intercity, Financial director and finally deputy CEO.
She then became director of the Norwegian National Airport Administration; later the agency became Avinor. She was in charge of a substantial restructurering of work processes and increased efficiency in order to make financial room for large safety investments. She resigned December 2005 after a long conflict of interests with the trade unions for traffic controllers. She was instead hired in IBM. In 2008, she became the new director of the Norwegian Consumer Council. She has also held several executive board positions, mostly within transport and public health.She shares the name Flesland with Norway's second largest airport.
Lynn Claire Feinberg (born 1955) is a Norwegian rabbi. She became the first female rabbi in Norway in 2009. She was born in Oslo. She is an adherent of Jewish Renewal, and is the founder and spiritual leader of Havurat Kol haLev, the first Jewish Renewal havurah in Oslo.She is also a historian of religion, specializing in women and Judaism, and is trained as an astrologer and an eco-kosher mashgicha.
Erik Gustavson is a Norwegian film director and producer. He started out as a camera assistant and eventually moved on to cameraman before starting to work as a director in 1981.
He has directed seven feature films, including Herman, The Telegraphist (an adaptation of Knut Hamsun's novel Dreamers), and Sophieʼs World, all three of which enjoyed multi market theatrical release. The Telegraphist was entered into the 43rd Berlin International Film Festival.In addition to his feature films, Gustavson has directed and produced approximately four hundred commercials world-wide for a variety of international markets.
Gustavson has published articles and produced documentaries about the craft of filmmaking, and occasionally taught the subject abroad.
Among the international awards that Gustavson has received are: Seven nominations for the Amanda Award, and three Amanda wins including Best Norwegian Short Film (1985), Best Norwegian Feature Film (1991), and Best Nordic Feature Film (1993); Two Golden Pencil Awards for Best Norwegian Commercial, one Gold Award for Best Nordic Director; and three Eurobest Awards in different categories for commercials. In 2019 first prize for best VR fictional the Aesthetica festival in UK with the 12 minute scripted volumetric-capture VR drama " Virtual viking - the ambush"

Poul Mathias Thomsen (born 1955, in Aabenraa) is a Danish economist working for the International Monetary Fund (IMF) since the 1980s. He served as the director of the IMF's European Department. He led the bailouts of Iceland, Greece, Portugal and Ukraine during and after the Great Recession.He retired from the IMF in July 2020.
Lars Gule (born 24 June 1955) is a Norwegian philosopher. He has graduated with a doctorate in philosophy, and is an associate professor (at Oslo Metropolitan University). From 2000 to 2005 he was secretary general of the Norwegian Humanist Association. Gule became known to the general public in 1977 when after having joined the DFLP group, Gule was arrested in Beirut, Lebanon with Semtex in his luggage intended for Israeli targets leading to a six-month conviction and subsequent deportation. He remains active as a anti-Israel activist. Gule is often used by Norwegian media as an authority on questions regarding the Middle East, Islam and extremism.
