Robert Wayne Dawson (May 9, 1924 – October 20, 2014), or "Sheriff Bob", was an American television personality, meteorologist, and producer. Dawson was famous for creating and hosting the children's television series Sheriff Bob, which featured his kind-hearted personality and direct connection to his young audiences. The program aired from 1954 until 1978.

Eldean Borg (April 21, 1938 – March 22, 2020) was an American journalist. He was the host of Iowa Press on Iowa PBS from 1971 to 2017, and "one of the most respected journalists in Iowa."Borg, was a native of Forest City, Winnebago County, Iowa. He graduated in 1959, from Iowa State University in Ames, Iowa, where he was named Outstanding Broadcast Journalist. As a student, he worked at WOI radio, which is now part of Iowa Public Radio (IPR). He later also attended the University of Iowa, in Iowa City, where he earned his Masters of Public Administration.After college, he served as a public information officer in the United States Air Force, where he flew on missions into the Panama Canal Zone just prior to the Bay of Pigs Invasion. Borg left active duty in the early 1960s but continued to serve as an Air Force Public Affairs Reservist until his military retirement in 1995.
After serving in the military, Borg began his journalism career, working at WMT in Cedar Rapids, where he ultimately oversaw a workforce of thirty-four sports, weather and farm journalists, who broadcast news on television and radio. He also continued to report, including as a war correspondent in South Vietnam and Southeast Asia and from Paris for the Paris Peace Talks.Borg left WMT in 1971 to lead public information for the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics. He also continued his broadcast career in 1972, becoming host of Iowa Press, a weekly public affairs program, on Iowa Public Television, and eventually became the longest-serving host and moderator in Iowa PBS history; he retired in 2017.

She held a seat on the city council of Grand Prairie, Texas, and produced and hosted the longest-running Public-access television cable TV show in Texas. She was considered by many to be the matriarch of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Ladislas_de_Hoyos

Count Ladislas de Hoyos (Ladislaus Alfons Konstantin Heinrich Johannes de Hoyos, French pronunciation: [ladislɑ d(ə) wajo]; 27 March 1939 – 8 December 2011), born into the Austro-Hungarian House of Hoyos, was a French TV journalist and politician.
Hoyos was a news broadcaster for TF1 and an investigative journalist. In 1972, in Bolivia, he unmasked with Nazi hunter Beate Klarsfeld the Nazi war criminal Klaus Barbie who was hiding in this country under the false identity of Klaus Altmann. He covered in 1987 the trial of Barbie in Lyon and wrote a book about it.
In 1991, Ladislas de Hoyos left the 8pm news program of TF1. He was replaced by the French journalist Claire Chazal. In 1997, he worked at Radio France Inter to produce the history magazine The Days of the Century.
In 2001 he was elected mayor of Seignosse, Landes, position he held until his death. In July 2006, he was appointed Chevalier of the Légion d'honneur.
In 1975, he married Corinne Meilhan-Bordes, air hostess at Air France with whom he had two daughters, Amelie and Charlotte. In 1991 he met Magali Fernández-Salazar, young Neuroscientist, Philosopher and former Journalist at Radio France Internationale, with whom he began a relationship that lasted until the end of his life.
He died on 8 December 2011 in Seignosse, where he is buried.

Antony Garrett Lisi (born January 24, 1968), known as Garrett Lisi, is an American theoretical physicist. Lisi works as an independent researcher without an academic position.
Lisi is known for "An Exceptionally Simple Theory of Everything," an unpublished preprint paper proposing a unified field theory based on the E8 Lie group, combining particle physics with Einstein's theory of gravitation. The theory is incomplete and has unresolved problems. The theory has been extensively criticized in the scientific community.
