Kerrin Petty-Nilsson (born 6 January 1970 in Townsend, Vermont, United States), is a US-Swedish cross-country skier. After competing on the cross-country ski team at the University of Vermont, she represented the United States during the 1994 Olympic Winter Games in Lillehammer and in Nagano in 1998. She won the 1998 women's main competition of Vasaloppet. and the unofficial women's competitions in 1994 and 1996.
In 1996, she won the Swedish women's 30 kilometers national championship. and in 1996 and 1997, she won Tjejvasan.Petty-Nilsson now works as an environment and health-protection inspector of Forshaga Municipality.

Doug_Lewis_(skier)

Douglas Grey Lewis (born January 18, 1964) is a former World Cup alpine ski racer with the U.S. Ski Team in the mid-1980s.
Born in Middlebury, Vermont, he was a two-time Olympian in 1984 and 1988.After competing in the 1984 Olympics at age 20, Lewis made his World Cup debut a month later in March 1984 with an 8th-place finish at Whistler, BC. The following season, Lewis had two World Cup top ten finishes and was the bronze medalist in the downhill at the 1985 World Championships at Bormio, Italy. He was unknown at that time, and having a bib number behind the best 15 racers he did gatecrash a party of three Swiss racers on the podium (and pushing away Franz Heinzer). His only World Cup podium came six months later, a second-place finish in Las Leñas, Argentina, in August 1985.
Lewis is currently an analyst for alpine ski racing with Universal Sports, and also runs a children's sports camp with locations in Waitsfield, Vermont, and Park City, Utah. He is a 1991 graduate of the University of Vermont.

Len_Whitehouse

Leonard Joseph Whitehouse (born September 10, 1957) is a retired Major League Baseball player who pitched in relief for the Texas Rangers in 1981 and for the Minnesota Twins from 1983 to 1985.
Whitehouse played two seasons of high school baseball at Burlington High School in his native Burlington, Vermont. After attending a tryout for the Pittsburgh Pirates in Maine, he was invited to participate in the Florida Instructional League in 1976. He signed a contract with the Texas Rangers on Christmas afternoon 1976 at Burlington International Airport.He finished his career with a 9-4 record with four saves and a 4.24 ERA in 97 appearances. Since 1967, Whitehouse is one of only two Vermont high school baseball players to make it into the Major Leagues. He was the pitcher when Reggie Jackson struck out for the 2,000th time in his career.After his playing career, Whitehouse's endeavors included serving as baseball coach for several Vermont high schools and assistant baseball coach at Saint Michael's College in Colchester, Vermont.

Keith_Cieplicki

Keith Cieplicki (born June 6, 1963) is an American former college basketball player and women's college basketball coach. From 1997 to 2003, he coached at Vermont, where he posted a 127–53 (.705) record. He left Vermont to take the head coaching job at Syracuse. In his three seasons there, he posted a 28–55 overall record. After the 2006 season he resigned. He was named one of the 50 Greatest Sports Figures from Vermont by Sports Illustrated.

Donald_H._Turner

Donald H. "Don" Turner Jr. (born July 19, 1964) is an American Republican politician who served in the Vermont House of Representatives, to which he was first elected in 2006. He represented the Chittenden-9 district until 2012 and represented the Chittenden-10 district from 2013 to 2019 for the town of Milton in Chittenden County. He also served as the Minority Leader of the Vermont House of Representatives from 2011 to 2019. Turner currently serves as the Town Manager of Milton as well as a member of the Board of Civil Authority. He is also a certified fire instructor, a member of the International Association of Fire Chiefs, Milton Firefighters Association, and was the Milton Fire and Rescue Chief and Forest Fire Warden.Turner was the 2018 Republican nominee for Lieutenant Governor of Vermont. He ran on a platform of affordability and economic growth; balance and collaboration; and supporting first responders and service-members. Turner lost to incumbent Dave Zuckerman (P/D) in the November general election.

Schuyler_Towne

M. Schuyler Towne (born Mohandas Schuyler Towne; December 16, 1983) is a competitive lockpicker and pioneer of the American Locksport movement. He was "first introduced to lockpicking at the 2006 Hackers on Planet Earth conference in New York." At that conference Towne became one of the founding board members of The Open Organization Of Lockpickers US chapter and in 2007 he launched Non-Destructive Entry Magazine. Towne has competed in the Dutch Open at LockCon in the Netherlands and both spoken and competed at DEF CON in Las Vegas. His last public talk was given at SecTor 2018.
