Maurice_Mariaud

Maurice Mariaud (1875–1958) was a French silent film director, actor and screenwriter.
He was best known for his silent films of the 1910s and his work overlapping with Portuguese film in the early 1920s, notably the 1922 Portuguese film Os Faroleiros.

René_Le_Somptier

René Eugène Le Somptier (12 November 1884 in Caen – 23 September 1950 in Paris) was a French filmmaker and journalist.He made his first short film, Poum à la chasse, in 1908 with his father as an actor. He was injured in World War I and after the war together with Charles Burguet made his first full-length film, La sultane de l’amour (1918).
In 1922 he produced La dame de Montsoreau based on a novel by Alexandre Dumas, starring Geneviève Félix. A colorized version was released in 1925.

René_Leprince

René Leprince (1876 – 25 May 1929) was an early French silent film director best known for his silent films of the 1910s and 1920s.
In film, Leprince began as an actor in 1908 and dabbled with directing. In 1911 he moved into directing permanently and directed some 70 films between 1908 and 1929.

Henry_Krauss

Henry Krauss (26 April 1866 – 15 December 1935) was a French actor of stage and screen. He is sometimes credited as Henri Krauss. He was the father of the art director Jacques Krauss.

Andrea_Habay

Andrea Habay (1883–1941) was a French film actor. Habay appeared in more forty films during the silent era, mostly in Italy. He also directed three films during the early 1920s. He played the role of Petronius in the 1924 epic Quo Vadis, one of his final films.

André_Deed

Henri André Chapais, known as André Deed (22 February 1879 – 4 October 1940), was a French actor and director, best known for his Foolshead comedies, produced in the 1900s and 1910s. André Deed was one of the first named actors in cinema, and his film series based around Foolshead were a global success.

Louis-Jacques Boucot also known under the pseudonyms Louis Boucaud or Louis Boucot, (3 November 1882 in Paris – 28 March 1949 in Paris) was a 20th-century French actor and film director. He appeared in films between 1910 (Une gentille petite femme by Georges Denola) and 1938 in La Pésidente by Fernand Rivers.He also played in the series Babylas by Alfred Machin (Babylas vient d'hériter d'une panthère, Babylas explorateur, Babylas habite une maison bien tranquille and Madame Babylas aime les animaux in 1911 ; Babylas va se marier in 1912.)
