Claude Hagège (French: [aʒɛʒ]; born 1 January 1936) is a French linguist.

Pierre Hadot (; French: [ado]; 21 February 1922 – 24 April 2010) was a French philosopher and historian of philosophy specializing in ancient philosophy, particularly Epicureanism and Stoicism.

François Marcantoni (28 May 1920 in Alzi, Corsica – 17 August 2010 in Paris) was a Corsican gangster and member of French resistance. He died on 17 August 2010, aged 90 in Paris.

Henri Charrière (French pronunciation: [ɑ̃ʁi ʃaʁjɛʁ]; 16 November 1906 – 29 July 1973) was a French writer, convicted in 1931 as a murderer by the French courts and pardoned in 1970. He wrote the novel Papillon, a memoir of his incarceration in and escape from a penal colony in French Guiana. While Charrière claimed that Papillon was largely true, modern researchers believe that much of the book’s material came from other inmates, rather than Charrière himself. Charrière denied committing the murder, although he freely admitted to having committed various other petty crimes prior to his incarceration.

Christian Fechner (26 July 1944 – 25 November 2008) was a French film producer, screenwriter and director.After starting off as an illusionist, he became a music producer with French singer Antoine. He transformed Antoine’s musicians, les Problems, into a band named Les Charlots.Fechner produced such films as Les bidasses en folie, Les fous du stade, Bons baisers de Hong Kong, Viens chez moi, j'habite chez une copine, Papy fait de la résistance, Les Spécialistes, Marche à l'ombre, The Children of the Marshland, La Tour Montparnasse Infernale, Chouchou.
In 2005, he produced Les Bronzés 3: Amis pour la vie (and marked his last great success making nearly $151,211,264 at the box office.Christian Fechner died of cancer on 25 November 2008.
Fechner had two children: film producer Alexandra Fechner and Maxime Fechner, owner of the fashion brand Kymerah.

Claude Faraldo (March 23, 1936 – January 30, 2008) was a French actor, screenwriter and film director. He was born to Italian immigrants. He directed the French cult film classic Themroc (1973).

Guillaume Dustan (November 28, 1965, Paris – October 3, 2005) was an openly gay French writer. Dustan's 1998 novel, In My Room, brought the author instant notoriety for his masterful use of autofiction and depiction of gay glamour and romance in mid-1990s Paris.

Jean-Baptiste Duroselle (17 November 1917, Paris – 12 September 1994, Arradon) was a French historian and professor. He had initially considered an army career or study of geography, but his poor skills in mathematics and drawing led him to turn to historical study. Pierre Renouvin's course fascinated him, and he became his assistant in 1945. He went on to teach at University of Saarbrücken from 1950 to 1957 and returned to the Sorbonne afterward. Between 1977 and 1979, he was visiting professor of the history of international relations at the Graduate Institute of International Studies in Geneva. Duroselle's writings include La Decadence (1980), L'Abime (1985), and others. Duroselle was elected to the American Philosophical Society in 1975. He was noted for his study of international relations and won a 1982 Balzan Prize for Social Sciences for his work.Among his students was Élisabeth Du Réau, biographer of Édouard Daladier. He supervised her 1987, eight-volume thesis on Daladier, published in condensed form in 1993 as Édouard Daladier, 1884-1970.

Maurice Dugowson (23 September 1938 – 11 November 1999) was a French film director and screenwriter. His 1975 film Lily, aime-moi was entered into the 25th Berlin International Film Festival. The following year, his film F comme Fairbanks was entered into the 26th Berlin International Film Festival. In 1981 his film Bye, See You Monday was entered into the 12th Moscow International Film Festival.
