Jean-Marie Poiré (French pronunciation: [ʒɑ̃ maʁi pwaʁe]; born 10 July 1945), also credited as Jean-Marie Gaubert, is a French film director, and screenwriter. He is the son of the producer Alain Poiré.

Roger Nimier (31 October 1925 – 28 September 1962) was a French novelist.

François Robert Velter (French: [vɛltɛʁ]; 9 February 1909 – 27 April 1991), known by his pen-name Rob-Vel ([ʁɔbvɛl]), was a French cartoonist. He is best known for creating the character Spirou in 1938.

Jean-Marie Bigard (French pronunciation: [ʒɑ̃ maʁi biɡaʁ]; born 17 May 1954) is a French comedian and actor. Known for his often controversial humour, he has performed at some of the largest entertainment facilities in France, including the Paris-Bercy Arena and Stade de France. Bigard is a close friend of former French President Nicolas Sarkozy, whom he accompanied on an official visit to Pope Benedict XVI in Rome.

Pierre Reverdy (French: [ʁəvɛʁdi]; 13 September 1889 – 17 June 1960) was a French poet whose works were inspired by and subsequently proceeded to influence the provocative art movements of the day, Surrealism, Dadaism and Cubism. The loneliness and spiritual apprehension that ran through his poetry appealed to the Surrealist credo. He, though, remained independent of the prevailing "-isms", searching for something beyond their definitions. His writing matured into a mystical mission seeking, as he wrote: "the sublime simplicity of reality."

Nicolas Rey is a French writer born in Evreux, Eure, on 8 May 1973.

Pierre Bachelet (25 May 1944 – 15 February 2005) was a French singer-songwriter and film score composer. He was also known as Andrew Bacson.
He died of lung cancer in 2005.

Claude Ollier (French: [klod ɔlje]; 17 December 1922 – 18 October 2014) was a French writer closely associated with the nouveau roman literary movement. Born in Paris, he was the first winner of the Prix Médicis which he received for his novel La Mise en scène.Ollier died on 18 October 2014, according to his publisher. He was 91.
