Marvine Henrietta Howe (born December 3, 1928) is an American political writer and retired newspaper reporter. She was a correspondent for The New York Times.

Gertrude Bella Feldman (August 13, 1924 – January 23, 2022) was an American reporter, columnist, and member of the White House Press Corps and State Department Press Corps. She regularly wrote for McCall's magazine and for The New York Times Syndicate, The Washington Post, as well as numerous other media, especially publications for the Jewish community. Feldman interviewed every U.S. president from Lyndon B. Johnson until George W. Bush; and every U.S. vice president from Hubert Humphrey to Al Gore. She was a contributing editor for World Tribune.com.

Thomas Grey Wicker (June 18, 1926 – November 25, 2011) was an American journalist. He was a political reporter and columnist for The New York Times.

Gaetano "Gay" Talese (; born February 7, 1932) is an American writer. As a journalist for The New York Times and Esquire magazine during the 1960s, Talese helped to define contemporary literary journalism and is considered, along with Tom Wolfe, Joan Didion, and Hunter S. Thompson, one of the pioneers of New Journalism. Talese's most famous articles are about Joe DiMaggio and Frank Sinatra.

Jane Ellen Brody (born May 19, 1941) is an American journalist principally covering science and nutrition. She wrote for The New York Times as its weekly "Personal Health" columnist from 1976 to 2022. Her column was syndicated nationwide, and she wrote several books on health. She was called the "High Priestess of Health" by Time magazine in 2008.
