Raymond Fisher Jones (15 November 1915 – 24 January 1994) was an American science fiction author. He is best known for his 1952 novel This Island Earth, which was adapted into the eponymous 1955 film.

Her career was setback by the downfall of Benito Mussolini's regime, but from 1950 she began appearing in films again as a character actress. She also appeared in television, such as the 1957 series Pride and Prejudice.

Anker_Rogstad

Anker Rogstad (8 January 1925 – 5 October 1994) was a Norwegian convicted safecracker who spent eight years in prison for his crimes, and later a celebrated crime writer. He started writing during imprisonment, and made his literary debut in 1956 with the crime novel Etterlyst. He was awarded the Riverton Prize in 1974 for the novel Lansen.

Tutta Rolf (born Solveig Jenny Berntzen; 7 October 1907 – 26 October 1994) was a Norwegian-Swedish film and theatre actress and singer. She was born in Oslo. She appeared in 14 films between 1932 and 1939. She was married three times, first to the Swedish actor and singer Ernst Rolf (1930–1932), then to the American director Jack Donohue (1936–1950), and finally to the Swedish director/actor Hasse Ekman (1953–1972). She was the mother of the Academy Award–winning film editor Tom Rolf and the actress Jill Donohue.

Bjarne_Øen

Bjarne Øen (6 November 1898 – 20 September 1994) was a Norwegian pilot, military officer and Lieutenant General of the Royal Norwegian Air Force. During World War II he played a central role in building up the Royal Norwegian Air Force in Canada and the United Kingdom. He served as Chief of Defence of Norway from 1957 to 1963.

François de Grossouvre (29 March 1918 – 7 April 1994) was a French politician who was appointed in 1981 by the newly elected President François Mitterrand with the tasks of overseeing national security and other sensitive matters, particularly those concerning Lebanon, Syria, Tunisia, Morocco, Gabon, the Persian Gulf countries, Pakistan and both Koreas. He was also in charge of the French branch of Operation Gladio, the stay-behind paramilitary secret armies created by NATO during the Cold War.He was found dead with gunshot wounds at the Élysée Palace, the French President's official residence. The official verdict was suicide.
