John "Ian" Bairnson (3 August 1953 – 7 April 2023) was a Scottish musician, best known for being one of the core members of the Alan Parsons Project. He was a multi-instrumentalist, who played saxophone and keyboards, although he was best known as a guitarist. He was also known for preferring the sound of a sixpence to a plectrum. In addition to his work with Parsons, Bairnson was also a member of the band Pilot and played guitar on four Kate Bush albums, including the guitar solo on her 1978 debut single, "Wuthering Heights".

Margaret Anne Lake (27 July 1942 – 9 March 2023), best known by her stage name Mystic Meg, was an English astrologer who had a regular astrology column in The Sun and the News of the World.She also hosted Mystic Meg's Wheel of Destiny for Sun Bingo.She came to greater public attention when she hosted what became a regular item on the first broadcast of the National Lottery draw in 1994. Her image also appears on various astrology-related books, posters and merchandise.

Irma Capece Minutolo (6 August 1935 – 7 June 2023) was an Italian opera singer who was one of the last companions of King Farouk I of Egypt. In later years, she claimed she was the king's last wife and used the name Irma Capece Minutolo Farouk.

Richard Terrance McDermott (September 20, 1940 – May 20, 2023), nicknamed The Essexville Rocket, was an American gold and silver medal-winning Olympic speed skater.
McDermott was a surprise winner in the 500 m at the 1964 Winter Olympics in Innsbruck when he beat the favorite in that distance, reigning Olympic champion Yevgeny Grishin, by half a second. His coach at the time was Leo Freisinger, the 500 m bronze medal winner of the 1936 Winter Olympics. McDermott's international career consisted exclusively of the 500 m at the Olympic Winter Games of 1960, 1964 and 1968. In 1968 he skated in unfavorable conditions, late in the day when the sun melted the ice. Yet he finished only 0.2 seconds behind the winner.McDermott was inducted in the National Speedskating Hall of Fame on June 4, 1977. At the 1980 Winter Olympics in Lake Placid, McDermott took the Olympic Oath representing the judges.McDermott worked as a barber from 1963 to 1967, and after that as a manufacturer's representative in the Detroit area. In parallel he served as a speed skating official. On February 9, 1964, he was a guest on The Ed Sullivan Show, an appearance that was overshadowed by the first U.S. performance of The Beatles. He resided in Bloomfield Hills, Michigan. He was married to Virginia, and has five children and an elder sister Marilyn.McDermott died on May 20, 2023, at the age of 82.

Robert Ballantyne Johnston (October 6, 1937 – October 19, 2023) was a United States Marine Corps lieutenant general whose last duty assignment was as Commander, Marine Forces Atlantic, Marine Forces Europe and II Marine Expeditionary Force. During the Gulf War, he served as the CENTCOM Chief-of-Staff. He retired from the Marine Corps in 1995 after over 34 years of service. Johnston died on October 19, 2023, at the age of 86.

Guy Camberabero (17 March 1936 – 26 October 2023) was a French rugby union footballer. His position was fly-half.
Camberabero played for La Voulte Sportif (one of the predecessor clubs to today's La Voulte-Valence), where he won the French rugby championship, in 1970, and for US Tyrosse.
Camberabero had 14 caps for France national team, from 1961 to 1968, scoring 2 tries, 19 conversions, 11 penalties and 11 drop goals, 110 points on aggregate. He had his first cap at the 32–3 loss to New Zealand, in Christchurch, at 19 August 1961, in a tour. He was a winner of the 1966–67 FIRA Nations Cup, playing a single game in the 60–13 win over Italy on 13 March 1967, scoring 27 points. He played twice at the Five Nations Championship, in 1967 and 1968. He won the Grand Slam in the 1968 Five Nations Championship. He had his last cap at the 14–9 win over Wales, in Cardiff, at 23 March 1968, in his final presence at the competition.Guy Camberabero was the brother of fellow French international rugby union player Lilian Camberabero and father of Didier Camberabero.
Guy Camberabero died in Valence, Drôme on 26 October 2023, at the age of 87 from COVID-19 during the COVID-19 pandemic in France.

Claude Barzotti (born Francesco Barzotti, Italian pronunciation: [franˈtʃesko barˈdzɔtti]; 23 July 1953 – 24 June 2023) was a Belgian singer of Italian origin who was prominent during the 1980s. Barzotti recorded several songs which each sold hundreds of thousands of copies. He first achieved success in 1981 with his song Le Rital.
