Anders_Magnus

Anders Magnus (born 10 April 1952) is a Norwegian journalist, author and television reporter.
Magnus was born in Oslo and took the cand.mag. degree in 1976. He was hired in the Norwegian Broadcasting Corporation (NRK) in 1978, and after tenures in Bergens Tidende from 1982 to 1992 and TV 2 from 1992 to 1998 he returned to NRK in 1998. He served as the NRK correspondent covering all of Africa from 1998 to 2002, and later as correspondent covering Asia from 2010 to 2014.He has authored several books, including Min afrikanske reise (My African journey; 2004) about his time in Africa.

Torgrim_Eggen

Torgrim Eggen (born 29 October 1958) is a Norwegian musician, journalist, magazine editor, novelist and non-fiction writer. Among his books are Gjeld from 1992 and the novel Pynt from 2000. Duften av Havana from 2002 is a cultural history of the cigar, and Manhattan from 2007 is about New York City. Eggen was awarded the Gyldendal's Endowment in 1995 (shared with Terje Holtet Larsen).

Tor Edvin Dahl (born 10 September 1943) is a Norwegian novelist, crime fiction writer, playwright, children's writer, non-fiction writer, translator, literary critic and journalist. He made his literary debut in 1968 with the short story collection En sommer tung av regn. His first novel was Den andre from 1972, and his literary breakthrough was the novel Guds tjener from 1973.He has written crime fiction using the pseudonym "David Torjussen". His first crime novel, Etterforskning pågår from 1973, earned him the Riverton Prize.He was awarded the Gyldendal's Endowment in 1973.

Ola_Bratteli

Ola Bratteli (24 October 1946 – 8 February 2015) was a Norwegian mathematician.
He was a son of Trygve Bratteli and Randi Bratteli (née Larssen). He received a PhD degree in 1974. He was appointed as professor at the University of Trondheim in 1980 and at the University of Oslo in 1991. He was a member of the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters.

Marianne_Borgen

Marianne Borgen (born 2 June 1951) is a Norwegian politician for the Socialist Left Party, who served as Mayor of Oslo from 2015 to 2023.
She finished her secondary education at Sofienberg Upper Secondary School in 1975, graduated from the University of Oslo with the cand.mag. degree in 1975 and the cand.sociol. degree in 1979. While studying she was a journalist in Universitas from 1976 to 1978. She worked as a consultant in the Ministry of Local Government and Labour from 1979 to 1985, for the Ombudsman for Children in Norway from 1985 to 1995, for the County Governor of Oslo and Akershus from 1995 to 1997 and then in Save the Children in Norway. Here she has been responsible for the "Norway program". She has represented Save the Children in the Forum for Children and Families in the Council of Europe.As a politician, Borgen was a member of her borough council from 1973 to 1976, and of Oslo city council from 1979 to 1983 and from 1995 to present. She served as a deputy representative to the Parliament of Norway from Oslo during the terms 1989–1993, 1993–1997, 1997–2001 and 2001–2005. In total, she met during eighteen days of parliamentary session. In 2007, she was the Socialist Left Party's candidate to become Mayor of Oslo, without succeeding. She was elected mayor in 2015 and re-elected in 2019. In February 2022, she announced that she wouldn't be seeking re-election as mayor in 2023. Following the election, she was succeeded by Anne Lindboe.Borgen was a board member of Lovisenberg Hospital from 1992 to 1994 and a deputy board member of Norwegian Social Research from 1996 to 2001. She has also co-administered research projects for the Research Council of Norway. From 1994 to 1996 and since 2006 she is a board member of Aker Hospital.

Mari_Maurstad

Mari Maurstad (born 17 March 1957) is a Norwegian actress. She debuted at Nationaltheatret (the National Theatre) in 1981, and has worked there since. Here she has had roles such as Polly in Brecht's The Threepenny Opera, and Mrs. Sørby in Ibsen's The Wild Duck. She has also acted in outdoor performances of Ibsen's Peer Gynt, and in several one-woman shows. In film and television she is best known for her roles in Drømmeslottet (1986) and Pilen flyttebyrå (TV, 1987). Maurstad took part in the reality show Skal vi danse (based on "Strictly Come Dancing") in 2007.
