Pierre Victor Théophile Bertin (24 October 1891 – 13 May 1984) was a French stage and film actor. In 1948, he starred in the film The Lame Devil under Sacha Guitry.
He was the librettist of the opéra-comique La Gageure imprévue after Sedaine with music by Henri Sauguet, first performed at the Paris, Opéra-Comique in 1944, and for the radio opera Les Deux Rendez-vous (after Nerval) by Claude Arrieu first broadcast in 1951.Pierre Bertin was born in Lille and died in Paris.

Manuel Cabré (January 25, 1890 – February 26, 1984) was a noted Spanish-Venezuelan landscape painter who is remembered as "the painter of El Ávila" (Spanish: El pintor de El Ávila).

Henri Fabre (29 November 1882 – 30 June 1984) was a French aviator and the inventor of the first successful seaplane, the Fabre Hydravion.Henri Fabre was born into a prominent family of shipowners in the city of Marseille. He was educated in the Jesuit College of Marseilles where he undertook advanced studies in sciences.
He intensively studied aeroplane and propeller designs. He patented a system of flotation devices which he used when he succeeded in taking off from the surface of the Etang de Berre on 28 March 1910. On that day, he completed four consecutive flights, the longest about 600 metres. the Hydravion has survived and is displayed in the Musée de l'Air in Paris. Henri Fabre was soon contacted by Glenn Curtiss and Gabriel Voisin who used his invention to develop their own seaplanes.
As late as 1971, Fabre said he was still sailing his own boat single-handedly in Marseille harbour.He died at the age of 101 as one of the last living pioneers of human flight.

José Carlos Pereira Ary dos Santos , better known as José Carlos Ary dos Santos, or simply Ary dos Santos (Lisbon, 7 December 1937a – Lisbon, 18 January 1984) was a Portuguese poet, lyricist, and poetry reader. He published his first book, A liturgia do sangue, in 1963, although his family had already published a book of his poems, Asas, against his will, when he was just 15.Despite already being a published poet by the time he started writing lyrics, it is through his poetic contribution to popular music that he became well known to the Portuguese public. In his lyrics, many being satirical protest songs, an exalted passionate tone coexists with lyrical rapture.

Robert Burton Rothel (September 17, 1923 – March 21, 1984) was a professional baseball player. He appeared in four games for the Cleveland Indians of Major League Baseball during the 1945 season as a third baseman.
Ken Keltner, the Indians' regular third baseman, had entered the Navy in March 1945. Regular right fielder Roy Cullenbine started the first three games of the season at third, a position he hadn't played in three years, but was moved back to right field when the team called up the 21-year-old Rothel from the Wilkes-Barre Barons. Rothel, in just his second season as a professional, started four games, but got just two hits in ten at bats, although he did walk three times. On the day of Rothel's last start, Cullenbine was traded to the Detroit Tigers in return for second baseman Dutch Meyer and, more pertinently, third baseman Don Ross. Rothel was returned to Wilkes-Barre. He played just one more season in the minor leagues before his career ended.
Rothel died of a self-inflicted gunshot wound in Huron, Ohio in 1984.

Her father was film director and actor Guido Brignone and her aunt was actress Mercedes Brignone. Her mother was actress Lola Visconti (pseudonym of Dolores Visconti).
