José Álvaro Barco Andrade (born 27 June 1967) is a former Peruvian international footballer who played for clubs in Peru and Chile.

Victor P. Dauer (April 14, 1909 – September 30, 2000) was an American football and baseball coach and college athletics administrator. He served as the head football and head baseball coach at Valparaiso University during the 1941–42 academic year.
Dauer was born on April 14, 1909, in Hammond, Indiana. He graduated from Emerson High School in Gary, Indiana. He played college football and college basketball at Indiana University Bloomington.Dauer served as an officer in the United States Army during World War II. He was an assistant coach for the 1943 Camp Davis Fighting AA's football team and was head coach of Camp Davis's basketball team in 1943–44.In 1947, he was appointed assistant professor and assistant athletic director Springfield College in Springfield, Massachusetts. In 1949, he moved to Washington State University as an assistant professor in the Men's Physical Education Department. Dauer earned a PhD in education from the University of Michigan in 1951.

Melvyn J. Garland (June 23, 1942 – March 5, 1983) was an American basketball coach and player. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, he emerged as a star dual-sport athlete in basketball and baseball at Arsenal Technical High School. Garland attended Purdue University and played for the Boilermakers on the basketball and baseball teams. He was a member of all-conference teams in both sports but excelled at basketball, where he was an Honorable Mention All-American during his junior season.
Garland turned to coaching after his graduation and began his career at Greenfield-Central High School as the coach of the basketball, baseball and cross country teams. He joined the Indiana State Sycamores men's basketball team as an assistant coach in 1967. Garland also served as the head coach of the Sycamores golf team for four seasons until his resignation from the university in 1975. He returned to high school coaching when he served as head basketball coach at Evansville Harrison High School for four seasons.
Garland was hired as the head coach and athletic director of the IUPUI Jaguars men's basketball team in 1979. He led the team to its first winning season in school history during the 1980–81 season but his career was prematurely ended when he stepped down due to health issues midway through the 1981–82 season. Garland continued to serve as athletic director until his death from leukemia on March 5, 1983.

Robert Ford Garrison (August 29, 1915 – June 6, 2001), nicknamed "Rocky" and "Snapper", was an American professional baseball player and coach. An outfielder, the native of Greenville, South Carolina, threw and batted right-handed, stood 5 feet 10 inches (1.78 m) tall and weighed 180 pounds (82 kg). He appeared in 185 games in Major League Baseball for the Boston Red Sox (1943–44) and Philadelphia Athletics (1944–46).

Dale O. Thomas (February 26, 1923 in Marion, Iowa – March 4, 2004) was the head coach of the Oregon State wrestling team at Oregon State University from 1957 to 1990, and is a National Wrestling Hall of Fame member. He competed in the men's Greco-Roman light heavyweight at the 1956 Summer Olympics. He died of kidney and liver failure due to complications from primary sclerosing cholangitis at the age of 81.[1]

Elle Anderson (born March 29, 1988) is a retired American road cyclist and cyclo-cross cyclist. She represented her nation in the women's elite event at the 2016 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships in Heusden-Zolder.In September 2019, Anderson announced her retirement from cyclo-cross to become the head coach for the Killington Mountain School's endurance cycling program in Vermont.
