Nicolas Portal (23 April 1979 – 3 March 2020) was a French directeur sportif and professional road bicycle racer. He was born in Auch, France.
He missed much of the 2009 season because of problems with cardiac arrhythmia and retired as a professional cyclist following the 2010 season. He stayed with his final professional team, Team Sky, as a manager from the 2011 season. Following the retirement of Sean Yates, Portal was appointed lead directeur sportif of Team Sky for 2013.
He died of a heart attack on 3 March 2020, aged 40.

Sébastien Joly (born 25 June 1979 in Tournon-sur-Rhône) is a French former professional road racing cyclist, who competed as a professional between 2000 and 2011. In 2006, he joined the Française des Jeux on the UCI ProTour. He was diagnosed with testicular cancer on 25 June 2007, his 28th birthday. He underwent an operation and then completed radiotherapy treatment on 11 September. Joly joined former team FDJ as a coach for the 2015 season.

Sébastien Hinault (born 11 February 1974) is a French former professional road racing cyclist, who competed professionally between 1997 and 2014, competing in seventeen Grand Tours. He now works as a directeur sportif for UCI ProTeam Arkéa–B&B Hotels.

Maurice De Muer (4 October 1921 – 4 March 2012) was a French cyclist who rode as a professional between 1943 and 1951 and later became a cycling team manager.He won Paris–Camembert in 1944 and finished second in the 1946 edition of Paris–Nice. He also rode in the 1947 and 1948 Tour de France.De Muer is mostly remembered as a cycling team manager. He started by supporting a small team, Pelforth-Wild-Lejeune, recruiting aggressive riders. This team was allowed to participate in the Tour de France in 1963. He became noticed as a sports director when in 1964 one of his cyclists Georges Groussard wore the yellow jersey for 10 days. He then led the team Bic (1969-1974) with which he led the fiery Luis Ocaña to victory in the Tour de France in 1973. He managed the Peugeot cycling team from 1975 to 1982.

Éric Boyer (2 December 1963) is a French former professional road bicycle racer.Boyer was born in Choisy-le-Roi. In the 1988 Tour de France, he finished in 5th place in the overall classification - the highest placed French finisher. Boyer won a stage in the 1991 Giro d'Italia.
After his racing career, Boyer worked for television (including Eurosport and L'Equipe) and newspapers. He was manager of the Cofidis team from 2005 until June 2012. In addition he briefly served as president of the AIGCP from 2008 to 2009.

Stéphane Augé (born 6 December 1974 in Pau) is a French former road racing cyclist. Following his career, he worked as a sporting director for UCI Professional Continental team Cofidis from 2011 until 2016. While he initially had a contract to ride competitively with them in the 2011 season, he chose instead to retire as a cyclist and fill an opening in the team's management. He was known to be part of the breakaway in every first stage of the Tour de France.
