Michele_Zarrillo

Michele Zarrillo (born 13 June 1957) is an Italian singer-songwriter. He is mainly known for hits such as "Una rosa blu" (A blue rose), "Cinque giorni" (Five days), L'elefante e la farfalla (The elephant and the butterfly) and "La notte dei pensieri" (The night of thoughts). In 1987 he won the Sanremo Music Festival, competing in the newcomers' section. Zarrillo took part in the competition several other times, the last time in 2020 with the song "Nell'estasi o nel fango".
He took part in Sanremo's competition 13 times, but only won once, as stated above.
As a songwriter, he penned songs for several artists, including Ornella Vanoni and Renato Zero.

Hendrik Otto "Henk" Westbroek (born 27 February 1952) is a Dutch radiohost, singer, songwriter and former owner of a café named 'Stairway to Heaven' in the city of Utrecht. He was also a political activist for Leefbaar Utrecht and Leefbaar Nederland in 1998.

Luk Renneboog, better known as Luke Walter Jr. (22 November 1947 – New York City, 18 June 1996), was a Belgian blues singer and musician.
In 1986, he founded the group Blue Blot with Albert Szukalski. With the second album 'Bridge to your heart', the group made a breakthrough to the general public.
In 1993, they discovered that he had leukemia. Just before his death, he made the solo album Back To Normal.

Helen_Vita

Helen Vita (7 August 1928 in Hohenschwangau – 16 February 2001 in Berlin) was a Swiss chanson singer, actress, and comedian. In 1966 Vita recorded Freche Chansons aus dem alten Frankreich, traditional French chansons translated into German. The explicit content of the songs was under scrutiny by courts in Germany before the Protests of 1968. She was married to the composer Walter Baumgartner.

Carmen Villani (born 21 May 1944) is a former Italian pop singer. She had a recognisable voice and an outstanding musical sense. Villani was a versatile performer, featuring elements of gospel and blues. She is considered among the finest examples of the early beat music in Italy. She also collaborated with some of the top film scorers in Italy. Villani's fame was limited to her homeland, where she charted records and gave several performances broadcast nationwide by RAI. After her failure to chart hits in the early 1970s, she became an actress in commedia sexy all'italiana films.

Joan_Pau_Verdier

Joan Pau Verdier (born Jean-Paul Verdier; 1 February 1947 – 21 June 2020) was a French singer born in Périgueux, Dordogne, who performed in both Occitan and French. He was one of the main figures of the Nòva cançon, an Occitan musical renewal wave during the 1970s.
Verdier died on 21 June 2020.
