Dale_O._Thomas

Dale O. Thomas (February 26, 1923 in Marion, Iowa – March 4, 2004) was the head coach of the Oregon State wrestling team at Oregon State University from 1957 to 1990, and is a National Wrestling Hall of Fame member. He competed in the men's Greco-Roman light heavyweight at the 1956 Summer Olympics. He died of kidney and liver failure due to complications from primary sclerosing cholangitis at the age of 81.[1]

Joseph_Mewis

Joseph Mewis (born 23 March 1931) is a Belgian wrestler. He was Olympic silver medalist in Freestyle wrestling in 1956. He also competed at the 1952, 1960 and 1964 Olympics.

Lise_Legrand

Lise Christiane Renée-Legrand (born 4 September 1976 in Boulogne-sur-Mer) is a female French wrestler who competed in the Women's Freestyle 63 kg at the 2004 Summer Olympics and won the bronze medal.

Xóchitl_Hamada

Xóchitl Guadalupe Hamada Villarreal (ソーチル・グアダルーペ・ハマダ・ビジャレアル, Sōchiru Guadarūpe Hamada Bijarearu, ring name: ソチ浜田; born May 1, 1970) is a Mexican semi-retired Luchadora or professional wrestler. She is the daughter of professional wrestler Gran Hamada, the sister of wrestler Ayako Hamada and the sister-in-law of Tiger Mask IV. Hamada was once married to Mexican wrestler Silver King and is currently married to Mexican wrestler Pentagon Black. Hamada has worked for most of her professional wrestling career in Mexico, making occasional appearances in her father's home country of Japan. Xóchitl Hamada has worked for Mexico's two largest wrestling companies, Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre (CMLL) and Asistencia Asesoría y Administración (AAA). She's held the CMLL World Women's Championship and she was the first AAA Reina de Reinas (Spanish for "Queen of Queens").

Daniel_Robin

Daniel Robin (31 May 1943 – 23 May 2018) was a French wrestler who was inducted into the United World Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2012.Robin was born in Bron, Rhône. He was Olympic silver medalist in both Freestyle wrestling and Greco-Roman wrestling in 1968, making a record as the first wrestler winning two silver medals at the same Olympic Games. Also competing at the 1972 Olympics, he won a gold medal at the 1967 World Wrestling Championships.Robin continued his career among the wrestling circle and became the head coach for French national team, then vice-president of the French Wrestling Federation, and shifted to become a technical delegate for FILA and United World Wrestling. For the 2012 London Olympics organizing committee, Robin was named the director of the wrestling operations in 2010.
Daniel Robin died on 23 May 2018 in Longueuil, Quebec, Canada at the age of 74.

Henri_Deglane

Henri Deglane (22 June 1902 – 7 July 1975) was a French wrestler. He was an Olympic Champion in Greco-Roman wrestling and AWA World Champion.In May 1931, Deglane faced Ed "Strangler" Lewis for the AWA World Heavyweight Championship in Montreal in a two-out-of-three falls match. After two falls, Deglane had feigned being bitten by Lewis, when in reality he had been bitten in the locker room. This led to Deglane being awarded the title via disqualification and a dispute over who was actually acknowledged as champion over the next two years.In 1933, Raoul Paoli, a French rugby player and all-round athlete, helped Deglane, his friend, to popularize professional wrestling in France. In 1933 the two men co-founded the FFCP.In July 1937 in Paris, France, Deglane lost his European Heavyweight Championship title to American Al Pereira.He was inducted into the Wrestling Observer Hall of Fame in 2013 for his accomplishments in professional wrestling.
