A. Laurence Lyon (1934–2006) was a composer of music, usually sacred music with a Latter-day Saint theme. He also served for 30 years as a professor at Western Oregon University.Lyon was born in Rotterdam, Netherlands where his father, T. Edgar Lyon was serving as president of the Netherlands Mission of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).Lyon created his first composition at 12. He was first called as an organist for a congregation of the LDS Church when he was 16 years old. That same year, he wrote and premiered a sextet for brass and woodwinds at Granite High School in Salt Lake City, Utah. He served as a LDS Church missionary in the Netherlands Mission, and organized and directed the choir from that mission that sang at the dedication of the Swiss Temple. In 1958 he married Donna Reeder in the Salt Lake Temple.After his mission, Lyon received a bachelor's degree from the University of Utah and a Ph.D. from the Eastman School of Music.From 1967 until 1997, Lyon was a professor of music at Western Oregon University. He was also president of Modern Music Methods, a publisher of string music for children.Lyon has been involved with the music for many LDS Church temple dedications. He wrote an arrangement of "The Morning Breaks" specifically for the dedication of the Oakland California Temple and directed choirs that performed at the dedications of the Portland Oregon Temple and the Seattle Washington Temple.Lyon served on multiple occasions in LDS bishoprics and on stake high councils. He was a member of the General Sunday School board in 1967 and of the general church music committee from 1985-1993. From 1999 until 2000, he and his wife served as missionaries in the Chile Osorno Mission.Two of Lyon's works are included in the 1985 edition of the LDS Church hymnbook. They are "Each Life That Touches Ours For Good" and "Saints, Behold How Great Jehovah." He also wrote seven works in the Primary Children's Songbook.Over 200 arrangements and compositions by Lyon were published. Many of his choral and organ works were featured on the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's weekly broadcasts. Among his works was the oratorio "Visions of Light and Truth," which was commissioned by BYU-Idaho.

Marius Müller (20 August 1958 – 14 March 1999) was a Norwegian guitarist, vocalist, songwriter, radio host, television host and record producer. He was raised in Manglerud, Oslo and began his career as a professional musician at sixteen. He first became famous in 1981 with the song "Den du veit" and released a total of six solo albums and five albums within the band Funhouse where he was the front man. Müller died 14 March 1999 in a car accident in Groruddalen, Oslo. He was considered one of the foremost guitarists in Norway.

The musician lived his childhood and part of his adolescence in the neighborhood of Caxangá, in Recife. Then he moved to Salvador, Bahia due to his father's work, living in the capital of Bahia for two years. Upon returning to Recife, he went to live in the Rio Doce neighborhood, which is located in Olinda in the Metropolitan Region of Recife, where he met and became friends with Chico Science. A friendship that was fueled by their interest in urban music culture. Where they came to create the Manguebeat movement, a musical genre that takes influences from Rock, Hip hop and Funk that emerged in the 90s.

Marcelo Fromer (December 3, 1961 – June 13, 2001) was the guitarist of Brazilian rock band Titãs. One of the founding members and also the band's manager, he died in 2001, after being hit by a motorcycle while jogging.

Guilherme Arantes (Portuguese pronunciation: [ɡiˈʎɛʁmi aˈɾɐ̃tʃis]) is a Brazilian singer-songwriter and pianist. He is a Steinway Artist.As a teenager, he was a member of the band Os Polissonantes, which also featured Brazilian actor Kadu Moliterno on bass guitar. In 1969, Arantes started the band Moto Perpétuo with fellow students from USP's architecture course.It was with Moto Perpétuo that Arantes got his first taste of touring and recording in a studio. The band split up in 1974 as Arantes wanted to pursue a more commercial, pop style of music.
Arantes dropped out of university to dedicate himself to his solo career, and in 1976, his song "Meu Mundo e Nada Mais" (My world and nothing more) was picked by Rede Globo to feature in the soundtrack for the telenovela Anjo Mau. The song was a hit, and Arantes toured the country for the first time.
His first self-titled album was released the same year on Globo's Som Livre label. The song "Cuide-se Bem" (Take good care) from the same record, was also picked by Globo for another telenovela, Duas Vidas. Arantes went on to write another 23 songs for Globo's telenovelas, with most of them becoming radio hits. Besides his solo work, he has also written songs for artists such as Gang 90 & Absurdettes, Elis Regina, Marina Lima and Maria Bethânia.
His album Flores & Cores (Flowers & Colors) was elected the 13th best Brazilian album of 2017 by the Brazilian edition of Rolling Stone.

Sérgio Dias Baptista (born December 1, 1950) is a Brazilian rock musician, composer and guitar player. Twice a Latin Grammy nominee, he is best known for his work with the band Os Mutantes and has been the only consistent member of the band, appearing on every album since its formation. In 2010 Sergio Dias collaborated with the band Tahiti Boy and the Palmtree Family in a project called "We are the Lilies", which also featured contributions from Iggy Pop and Jane Birkin.

Eivind Rølles (15 March 1959 Bestum in Oslo — 18 March 2013) was a Norwegian musician (guitar) best known for his time with pop duo The Monroes. prior to this, he was a member of the bands Broadway News and PVC.
