Trygve_Stokstad

Trygve Stokstad (25 November 1902 – 26 April 1979) was a Norwegian boxer who competed in the 1920 Summer Olympics and in the 1924 Summer Olympics.In 1920 he was eliminated in the quarter-finals of the welterweight class after losing his fight to William Clark. Four years later he was eliminated in the first round of the middleweight class after losing his fight to Harry Mallin who was on the way to win his second consecutive Olympic gold medal.

Raúl Márquez (born August 28, 1971) is an American former professional boxer who competed from 1992 to 2008. He held IBF junior middleweight title between April and December 1997. Márquez also represented the U.S. at the 1992 Summer Olympics in Barcelona.

Gilbert Chapron (October 7, 1933 – September 5, 2016) was a French boxer, who competed in the middleweight division (– 75 kg) during his career as an amateur. He was born in Blois, Loir-et-Cher.

Ivano_Fontana

Ivano Fontana (25 November 1926 – 24 December 1993) was an Italian boxer. He won a bronze medal in the middleweight division at the 1948 Summer Olympics in London, losing to gold medal winner Laszlo Papp. He was born in Lucca, Italy.

Laurent_Dauthuille

Laurent Dauthuille (20 February 1924 – 10 July 1971) was a French boxer.
Arriving in Montreal in the late 1940s, he was nicknamed the Tarzan of Buzenval. During his career Dauthuille beat notable fighters such as Jake LaMotta, Steve Belloise, Tony Janiro, Eugene Hairston, Norman Hayes, Johnny Greco, Paddy Young, Bobby Dawson, Tuzo Portuguez, Luc van Dam and Robert Charron. Dauthuille's biggest fight came on September 13, 1950 he fought Jake LaMotta, a boxer he once bested by unanimous decision, for the world middleweight championship. He was ahead on all cards going into the 15th and final round of the match, when he was felled by a late flurry of punches from LaMotta. He ultimately lost by knockout when he was counted out with 13 seconds left in the fight. The fight was named Ring Magazine's fight of the year for 1950. He fought 15 more times but never again for a world title.

Hippolyte_Annex

Hippolyte Annex (14 February 1933 - 21 February 2021) was a French former professional boxer. He was four times French champion, holding the French welterweight title from 1960 when he beat Michel Lombardet to 1961 and the middleweight title from 1961 to 1963. In 1962, he unsuccessfully fought Laszlo Papp for the EBU European middleweight title.

Don_Fullmer

Don Fullmer (February 21, 1939 – January 28, 2012) was an American professional boxer and a brother of the former world middleweight champion Gene Fullmer. Eight years younger than his more famous brother, Don followed Gene into the gym in West Jordan, Utah, to learn how to box. He fought as an amateur for four years and did not lose in sixty-five fights. Another brother, Jay, was also active in boxing.

Tiberio Mitri (12 July 1926 in Trieste – 12 February 2001 in Rome), also known as "La tigre di Trieste" (The Trieste Tiger) was an Italian boxer who fought from 1946 to 1957. During his career, Mitri was Italian and European middleweight champion.

His life was marked by his sporting achievements, social lifestyle and ultimately, tragedy, being killed in an airplane crash.
