Paola Barale (born 28 April 1967) is an Italian TV presenter and actress. She was married to Gianni Sperti.
Her television career began by chance, in fact, she desired to become a gymnastics teacher and she had graduated from the former Higher Institute of Physical Education in Turin. Many, however, pointed out that she looked like a Madonna lookalike, referring to the look of the True Blue period, and began working on television. It is hosted for the first time Domenica in the 1986 edition conducted by Mino Damato, just as the lookalike of the American singer. She appeared in the final theme song of the variety show La TV delle ragazze, conducted by Serena Dandini.
Her first official work is that of Littorina in Antonio Ricci's Odiens programme. After an audition in the fall of 1989, she became Mike Bongiorno's official valet in several of his broadcasts, such as The Wheel of Fortune (1989–1995), All x One (1992–1993), Italian Festival (1993) and the two spin-offs of The Wheel of Fortune (1994–1995) and The Mundial Wheel (summer 1994). In the 1994–1995 season, she led in the morning, with Marco Predolin and Natalia Estrada, the first programme dedicated to telesales, entitled Department stores.
In the spring of 1995, she co-hosted the Valentine's Day special One Evening We Met, the special dedicated to the hundred years of cinema The Magnificent Ten, and the evening Four-legged Stars. In the summer of 1995, she conducted with Claudio Cecchetto A record for the summer, while in the autumn she presented an edition of the comic variety The Last? along with Gerry Scotti. In 1996 she brought back the evening Stars on all fours. She also joined Luca Barbareschi in The Great Bluff, and led with Rosario Fiorello A record for the summer.

Didier Bellens (9 June 1955 – 28 February 2016) was a Belgian businessman. Until 15 November 2013, he was the CEO of Belgacom, the leading telecommunications company of Belgium. He was married and had three children. He died on 28 February 2016.

Valentino Orsini (19 January 1927 in Pisa – 26 January 2001 in Cerveteri) was an Italian film director.
After his first interests to arts (he had been sculptor, stage designer, cinema critic, cineclub animator) in his hometown, in 1954 Valentino Orsini directed with the brothers Paolo and Vittorio Taviani (born in the near small city of San Miniato) the documentary San Miniato: luglio 1944. After other documentaries, most with Taviani brothers, he realized his first fiction films in 1962 and in 1963, both with the two brothers. After other documentaries Orsini directed his first fiction film alone, I dannati della terra in 1969. Despite his few fiction films (but he realized a lot of documentaries all around the world) Orsini is highly considered for his role in renewing Italian cinema in 1960s and 1970s, facing subjects such as the peasants' fights in Sicily, the divorce, the underdeveloped countries. In his last films his civil commitment was less present.
For several years, he was the main Film directing teacher at the National Film School, Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia in Rome, Italy. Among his students: Gabriele Muccino, Francesca Archibugi, Fausto Brizzi, Salvatore Mereu, Giuseppe Petitto, Paolo Franchi.

Florestano Vancini (24 August 1926 – 18 September 2008) was an Italian film director and screenwriter.
He directed over 20 films since 1960. His 1966 film Le stagioni del nostro amore, starring Enrico Maria Salerno, was entered into the 16th Berlin International Film Festival. His 1973 film The Assassination of Matteotti was entered into the 8th Moscow International Film Festival where it won a Special Prize. In 1999 he was a member of the jury at the 21st Moscow International Film Festival.

Pier Maria (P.M.) Pasinetti (24 June 1913, Venice, Italy – 8 July 2006, Venice, Italy) was a novelist, professor and journalist.
P. M. Pasinetti went to the U.S. in 1935 to study literature and writing. He spent some time at the Louisiana State University and developed a friendship with "Southern Fellowship" poet and writer Robert Penn Warren.

Bernard Fresson (27 May 1931 – 20 October 2002) was a French actor who primarily worked in film.
Born in Reims, France, to a French baker, Fresson attended the Lycée privé Sainte-Geneviève, majoring in law. He studied in Tania Balachova's drama class in Paris and later became part of Jean Vilar's Théâtre National Populaire at the Palais de Chaillot.He made his on-screen debut in the Alain Renais film Hiroshima mon amour as a German soldier. His notable film roles include: Gilbert in La Prisonnière (1968), Inspector Barthelmy in John Frankenheimer's French Connection II (1975), Scope in Roman Polanski's The Tenant (1976), Francis in Garçon! (1983), Morin in Street of No Return (1989) and Vincent Malivert in Place Vendôme (1998). He also appeared in the 1969 Costa-Gavras film Z.
For his roles in Garçon! and Place Vendôme, Fresson received a César nomination for Best Supporting Actor.

Odile Versois (born Étiennette de Poliakoff-Baydaroff; 15 June 1930 – 23 June 1980) was a French actress who appeared in 47 film and television productions between 1948 and 1980. Versois was the sister of actresses Marina Vlady, Hélène Vallier and Olga Baïdar-Poliakoff. Their father, Vladimir, was a noted opera singer of Russian descent, and their mother, Militza Envald Voropanoff, was a dancer. Born in Paris, she began acting as a child and for a while pursued a ballet career.
