Ellen Schwanneke (1906–1972) was a German dancer and stage and film actress.She was the daughter of stage and film actor Viktor Schwanneke.

Margarete Emma Dorothea "Grete" Mosheim (8 January 1905 – 29 December 1986) was a German film, theatre, and television actress.

Charlotte Ander (born Charlotte Andersch, 14 August 1902 – 5 August 1969) was a German actress.
She was born in Berlin, the daughter of German stage/film couple Rudolf Andersch and Ida Perry. Ander was trained at the Berliner Staatstheater. Ander was a star in the silent era before making the transition to sound. Her film career started in 1920 with the film Die letzte Stunde and Danton (1921). Innumerable starring roles in silent movies and early talkies with super-stars Emil Jannings, Marlene Dietrich, and Hans Albers followed.
On 21 February 1927, she created the role of Mascha in the world premiere of Der Zarewitsch by Franz Lehar at the Deutsche Künstler Theater in Berlin, alongside Rita Georg and Richard Tauber, with the composer conducting.
She celebrated her greatest success in 1933 with the role of the record shop assistant Nina in Ein Lied geht um die Welt aka A Song Goes Around the World in which she starred with then popular singer Joseph Schmidt and her mother, Ida Perry. In 1933, after the Nazis came to power, because she was not reinrassig or pure-blood, it became difficult for Ander to find work. She went to England and made at least two films including Maid Happy (1933), but soon found roles as hard, or harder, to find in England than they had been in Germany.
Despite the difficult conditions for her in Nazi Germany, Ander returned. She could make a living although not often in front of the cameras. Her only two Nazi era German films were Wie einst im Mai (1938) and Anton the Last (1939). Here fortunes were somewhat better on the stage where she worked until 1950 before returning to the screen in The Benthin Family. Her final film was Das tanzende Herz (1953). She died in West Berlin.

Berta Emilie Helene Drews (German: [ˈbɛʁta heˈleːnə ˈdʁeːfs] ; 19 November 1901 – 10 April 1987) was a German stage and film actress. She appeared in more than 60 films from 1933 to 1983. She was married to actor Heinrich George. The couple had two sons, including actor Götz George.

Lina Carstens (6 December 1892 in Wiesbaden – 22 September 1978 in Munich) was a German film and theater actress. On stage she appeared in plays by Gerhart Hauptmann, Arthur Schnitzler, and August Strindberg, and in her old age she starred in the film Lina Braake directed by Bernhard Sinkel.

Lotte Spira (German: [ˈlɔ.tə ˈʃpiː.ʁaː] ; 24 April 1883 – 17 December 1943) was a German stage and film actress. She appeared in supporting roles in around seventy films.
She was married to the Austrian actor Fritz Spira in 1905. In 1934 she divorced her Jewish husband under duress from the Nazi authorities. During the Second World War she signed a statement swearing Spira was not the real father of her daughter Camilla Spira, who was being held at Westerbork transit camp in the Netherlands.Shortly after Lotte Spira received news of her ex-husband's death in a concentration camp in Yugoslavia, she died of natural causes, aged 60. Her other daughter Steffie Spira, also an actress, managed to escape into exile.

Hedwiga Reicher (Born Hedwig Reicher; 12 June 1884 – 2 September 1971) was a German actress. Her performances on Broadway were credited with the original spelling of her first name.Reicher was christened Hedwig, but she altered the spelling after she came to the United States because some people called her "Mr. Hedwig". She was half-sister of actor Frank Reicher, sister of actor and screenwriter Ernst Reicher, and daughter of actor Emanuel Reicher. Another brother, Hans Reicher, was a sculptor, and her sister, Elly, was an actress.Reicher's film debut came in The Rubaiyat of Omar Khayyam, produced by Ferdinand Earle.In addition to acting, Reicher produced two plays with her father and in 1921 had a solo production of Monna Vanna at Los Angeles's Little Theater. She also acted in all three.On February 2, 1934, Reicher married concert pianist and music teacher Maurice Zam in Hollywood, California.

Agnes Windeck (German: [ˈaɡnɛs ˈvɪnˌdɛk] ; 27 March 1888 – 28 September 1975) was a German theatre and film actress. She appeared in more than 50 films between 1939 and 1973. She was born in Hamburg and started her career at the Deutsches Schauspielhaus in 1904. She later worked as a teacher at the drama school of the Deutsches Theater in Berlin. In the 1930s she began to play minor roles in several films but it was not until she was in her seventies when she became a popular character actress of West German cinema and television.
