Anna Führing (German: [ˈana ˈfyːʁɪŋ] ; 1866–1929) was a German actress. She is, however, more famous as the model for the Germania stamp of the Reichspost.

Katharina "Käthe" Dorsch (pronounced [ˈkɛː.tə ˈdɔʁʃ] , 29 December 1890 – 25 December 1957) was a German stage and film actor.

Rosalie Helga Lina Zech (7 July 1940 – 31 August 2011), known as Rosel Zech, was a German theater and film actress, she is most well known for her works associated with the "Autorenkino" (New German Cinema) movement, which began in the 1970s.

Ingrid Steeger (German: [ˈɪŋ.ɡʁiːt ˈʃteː.gɐ] ; 1 April 1947 – 22 December 2023) was a German actress and comedian. From 1966 to 2006 she appeared in front of the camera in around 100 film and television productions.

Marion Michael (17 October 1940 – 13 October 2007) was a German film actress and singer. She was best known for her role in the 1956 film Liane, Jungle Goddess. She was also the second German actress to appear nude on film, after Hildegard Knef who starred in the German film The Sinner in the 1950s.Michael was born Marion Ilonka Michaela Delonge in Königsberg (now Kaliningrad). She was selected for the role of Liane in Liane, Jungle Goddess out of 12,000 prospective actresses. She was only 15 at the time of the filming, which took place on location in Africa, and she controversially appeared topless during the first half of the movie. The movie was a box office success. However, none of her following 10 films over the next six years were as successful.Michael suffered injuries in a car accident during this time period. She returned to acting, but stopped again in 1965. She suffered a bout of depression and, unusually, moved from West Germany to Communist East Germany.Michael sometimes returned to film and television acting later in her life, but only rarely. However, despite her lack of screen time after the 1960s, she remained a well known German film icon. Her last onscreen appearance was in a 1996 German television musical about her life, entitled Liane.Michael died of heart failure in Gartz, Brandenburg, four days shy of her 67th birthday.

Ruth Leuwerik (German: [ʁuːt ˈlɔɪ̯.və.ʁɪk] ; 23 April 1924 – 12 January 2016) was a German film actress, one of the most popular stars of German film during the 1950s. She appeared in 34 films between 1950 and 1977. Leuwerik is probably best known for her portrayal of Maria von Trapp in the films The Trapp Family and The Trapp Family in America.

Born in Essen as Ruth Leeuwerik, she grew up there and in Münster. She began her acting career with stage roles in the late 1940s. In the 1950s she and Dieter Borsche were considered as the ideal couple of the German film. In 1962 she starred in the Helmut Käutner film Redhead, which was entered in the 12th Berlin International Film Festival. She is a five-time Bambi Award winner. Leuwerik died in Munich on 12 January 2016.

Camilla Martha Horn (25 April 1903 – 14 August 1996) was a German dancer and a film star of the silent and sound era. She starred in several Hollywood films of the late 1920s and in a few British and Italian productions.

Dinah Eleonora Hinz, married name Hinz-Weiss (14 February 1934 – 14 July 2020) was a German film and stage actress and audiobook narrator.Hinz died in Zürich on 14 July 2020, aged 86.

Magdalena Maria Schneider (17 May 1909 – 30 July 1996) was a German actress and singer. She was the mother of the actress Romy Schneider.
