Knud Grabow Christensen (born 19 December 1949), better known by his stage name Sebastian, is a Danish singer, guitarist and songwriter.Sebastian started playing guitar in 1966, and started writing songs in 1967. Since having worked in the folk rock genre in the 1970s, he became one of the most prominent pop rock musicians in Denmark and has scored numerous films and plays. His releases have reached combined sales of over 2.5 million copies since 1971. His singing voice began weakening in the end of the 1980s, because of bad health. He is still active, and has made several popular albums. So far, his career has spanned more than five decades.

Verner Blaudzun (born 23 March 1946) is a Danish former cyclist who represented Denmark at the Summer Olympics. He won the bronze medal in the men's team time trial at the 1976 Montreal Olympics held in Canada, alongside Gert Frank, Jørgen Hansen and Jørn Lund.
He came fourth in the same even at the 1968 Olympics, and came 42nd 4 years later in the 1980 men's road race.Blaudzun's son, Michael, was a professional road bicycle racer who was twice Denmark's national road racing champion and 3 times national time trial champion. He retired after the 2008 season.
The Dutch singer-songwriter and bicycle racing enthusiast Johannes Sigmond chose 'Blaudzun' as his stage name.

Karl Søren Clausen (15 August 1904 – 5 December 1972) was a Danish pianist, conductor, composer and musicologist. In addition to his work as a high school teacher in German and Music, he composed several instrumental and choral works, as well as songs. He became increasingly involved in work with amateur choirs and school singing, and he became a very popular choir conductor, who led several choirs to many musical successes, often with his own choir arrangements, based on folk melodies.
The strong folk singing tradition that he experienced in his childhood Sønderjylland under German rule became decisively influential during his later career. In the late 1940s he began collecting sound recordings of folk singing in marginal, rural areas of Jylland, and in the 1960s he continued this work in the isolated Faroe Islands in the North Atlantic. Alongside teaching and collection work, Clausen also began studying the history of Danish and North German folk singing, and put folk singing into a new context, incorporating historical, religious and sociological aspects, as reflected in various articles, as well as a textbook.

Jerry Hilgenberg (April 9, 1931 – January 14, 2024) was an American football player and coach for the University of Iowa. He was a first team All-American in 1953 and served as an assistant coach to the Iowa football team for eight seasons.

Merrill Glend "Pinky" May (January 18, 1911 – September 4, 2000) was an American professional baseball player and third baseman who appeared in 665 games in Major League Baseball for the Philadelphia Phillies from 1939 through 1943. He later became a longtime manager in the minor leagues and fashioned a 40-year career in organized baseball. He served in the United States Navy during World War II and was the father of former longtime major league catcher Milt May.

Alexander William Monteath (22 May 1941 – 9 March 2021) was a Scottish television actor and broadcaster. He was best known for playing the part of crofter Dougal Lachlan in Take the High Road from 1980 until 1992.Monteath was born in Doune, Perthshire on 22nd May 1941. He was a graduate of the Glasgow College of Dramatic Art and went on to act at leading Scottish theatres (including Kilmarnock, Pitlochry and Perth) before entering broadcasting. His wife, Caroline Grant, was also an actress. His son David Monteath has also been an actor on Coronation Street, Dramarama, Take the High Road and Endeavour amongst various other TV shows and films.Monteath's earliest acting appearances on TV were in a half-hour drama for St. Andrew's Day called Rory Aforesaid in 1961, where he appeared as a extra alongside Hannah Gordon followed by guest roles in episodes of Witch Wood and Judith Paris (both 1964) and appeared in an episode of Scottish Playbill as a TV announcer in 1966.Monteath joined Scottish Television as an continuity announcer and newsreader in 1964, After doing some relief announcing for the first two years, Monteath was brought in as STV's new weekday announcer in the autumn season of 1966, then joined the announcing team at BBC Scotland in 1969 - in addition to his announcing and newsreading duties on TV and radio, Monteath presented some radio shows on Radio 4 Scotland, including a weekly lunchtime show 'Twelve Noon' in the early 1970s.After a spell working at Pitlochry Festival Theatre (1973 - 1978), Monteath returned to acting in the late 1970s, some of his TV credits include appearances in The Omega Factor (1979); Grange Hill (1996); Taggart (1997); and Monarch in the Glen (2000), but he is perhaps best known as one of the original characters – Dougal Lachlan – in STV’s Take the High Road, a role he played for 12 years (1980 – 1992).
In January 1992, it was announced that his character would be retired from Take the High Road. Monteath said he was "paying the price for one too many rows with the series' scriptwriters".In November 2021, it was announced by Equity that Monteath had died. His death occurred in Balfron, Stirlingshire on 9 March, at the age of 79.
