Wallace Jerold "Buddy" Werner (February 26, 1936 – April 12, 1964) was an American alpine ski racer in the 1950s and early 1960s.

Mario Pisu (21 May 1910 – 17 July 1976) was an Italian actor and voice actor.

Robert Alan Bechtle (May 14, 1932 – September 24, 2020) was an American painter, printmaker, and educator. He lived nearly all his life in the San Francisco Bay Area and whose art was centered on scenes from everyday local life. His paintings are in a Photorealist style and often depict automobiles.

Francesco Alberoni (31 December 1929 – 14 August 2023) was an Italian journalist and a professor of sociology. He was a board member and senior board member (chairman) of RAI, the Italian state television network, from 2002 to 2005.Alberoni was among the few regular front page writers of Corriere della Sera, Italy's most popular newspaper, which published his articles from 1973 to 2011. He wrote a four-column editorial titled "Public & Private" (begun in 1982) for the Monday edition. He was the widower of Rosa Giannetta.

Jacques Rivière (15 July 1886 – 14 February 1925) was a French "man of letters" — a writer, critic and editor who was "a major force in the intellectual life of France in the period immediately following World War I". He edited the magazine La Nouvelle Revue Française (NRF) from 1919 until his death. He was influential in winning a general public acceptance of Marcel Proust as an important writer. His friend and brother-in-law was Alain-Fournier (Henri Alban-Fournier), with whom he exchanged an abundant correspondence.

Folco Quilici (9 April 1930 – 24 February 2018) was an Italian film director and screenwriter. He directed a total of 22 films between 1952 and his retirement in 2005, including Tiko and the Shark (it). His 1955 film L'ultimo paradiso won the Silver Bear in the documentary category at the 7th Berlin International Film Festival.

Iain Campbell Mills (21 April 1940 – 16 January 1997) was a Conservative Party politician in the United Kingdom.
Mills was born in Scotland but grew up in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) and was educated at the University of Cape Town in South Africa. He subsequently returned to Britain, where he worked as a Market Planning Executive for Dunlop, and helped design the tyres that Jackie Stewart won a World Drivers' Championship with. He married Gaynor Jeffries in 1971, and served as a councillor on Lichfield District Council from 1974 until 1976.
He entered the House of Commons at the 1979 general election as Member of Parliament (MP) for the constituency of Meriden. He was a parliamentary private secretary to Norman Tebbit.On 16 January 1997, Mills was found dead from alcohol poisoning at his Dolphin Square flat, aged 56. This caused the government of John Major to lose its parliamentary majority.

Friedrich Wilhelm "Will" Quadflieg (German: [vɪl ˈkvat.fliːk] ; 15 September 1914 – 27 November 2003) was a German actor from Oberhausen. He was the father of actor Christian Quadflieg. He is considered one of Germany's best post-war actors. One of his most widely recognized roles was in the title role in the 1960 film Faust. He also starred in a number of other roles. Quadflieg died from a pulmonary embolism.
