Luciano Caldas Bivar (born 29 November 1944) is a Brazilian politician and businessman. He is current a Deputy for Pernambuco as well as leader of the Brazil Union. Previously he was Social Liberal Party presidential candidate for the 2006 Brazilian general election. He received 0.06% of the total vote and did not progress to the second round. He was President of the Social Liberal Party from 2018 until it merged with the Democrats to become the Brazil Union.
Born in Recife, Bivar was the president of Sport Club do Recife from 1989 to 1990, from 1997 to 2001, from 2005 to 2006, and in 2013.

Antonio Irineo Villarreal González (July 16, 1877 in Lampazos, Mexico – December 16, 1944 in Mexico City) was a Mexican politician and soldier.
From 1903, Villarreal turned against the dictatorship of Porfirio Díaz. He published a number of liberal magazines and was subsequently imprisoned. After his release he fled to the United States where he joined, the anarchist Mexican Liberal Party (PLM) of Ricardo Flores Magón. At the outbreak of the Mexican Revolution in 1910, he joined the Progressive Constitutionalist Party (PCP) of Francisco Madero, and after Madero's victory in 1911 he was appointed consul in Barcelona.
After the coup attempt and assassination of Madero by Victoriano Huerta in 1913 he returned to Mexico. He joined the constitutionalist army of Pablo González Garza and Venustiano Carranza. He took part in the Convention of Aguascalientes, and remained as one of the few neutrals there when Villa and Carranza together walked out. On 31 October 1914, he was elected president of the convention, but soon handed over that function to Eulalio Gutiérrez. Villarreal was then made governor of Nuevo León, where he had a number of progressive reforms. A year later he was ousted by the forces of Carranza and he was forced to flee the country.
After the death of Carranza in 1920 he returned, and became minister of agriculture under Álvaro Obregón. In 1922 he stood for election as senator, but his victory was withheld. A year later he joined the De la Huertaopstand, but that organisation was suppressed, and he was forced to leave the country again. In 1929 he supported National Anti-Reelectionist Party and the presidential campaign of José Vasconcelos. In the disputed result of the election, he again fled the country again.
In 1934, he was presidential candidate for the Confederation of Independent Revolutionary Party, but got only 1.08% of the vote. After that, he retired from politics. He died in 1944.
His two sisters Teresa Villarreal and Andrea Villarreal both had careers as political agitators for the Mexican revolution from a base in exile in the United States.

John Massie Mutz (born November 5, 1935) is an American business leader and politician who served as Lieutenant Governor of Indiana, Republican candidate for Governor and president of Lilly Endowment, one of America's largest family foundations.
Born in Indianapolis, Mutz is a graduate of Northwestern University, earning both a bachelor's degree and master's degrees in advertising and business management there.
Mutz has had a long business career including the management of a large group of Burger Chef restaurants and serving as president of PSI Energy, Indiana's largest utility.
In Indiana politics, he served as State Representative from 1967 to 1970, State Senator from 1971 to 1980 and as the 45th Lieutenant Governor, serving under Robert D. Orr from 1980 to 1988. He ran for Indiana State Treasurer in 1970, but lost the general election. Mutz was defeated by Evan Bayh in the 1988 race for Indiana Governor.

Albert B. Cleage Jr. (June 1911 – February 20, 2000) was a Black nationalist Christian minister, political candidate, newspaper publisher, political organizer, and author. He founded the prominent Shrine of the Black Madonna Church, as well as the Shrine Cultural Centers and Bookstores in Detroit, Michigan, and Atlanta, Georgia, and Houston, Texas. All locations are still open and functioning under the BCN mission. Cleage, who changed his name to Jaramogi Abebe Agyeman in the early 1970s, played an important role in the Civil Rights Movement in Detroit during the 1960s and 1970s. He became increasingly involved with Black nationalism and Black separatism during the 1970s, rejecting many of the core principles of racial integration. He founded a church-owned farm, Beulah Land, in Calhoun Falls, South Carolina, and spent most of his last years there. He was the father of daughters Kristin Cleage and writer Pearl Cleage.
He died on February 20, 2000, at 88 while visiting Beulah Land, his church's new farm.
