José Villagrán García (22 September 1901 – 10 June 1982) was a Mexican architect.

Gerald Raphael Finzi (14 July 1901 – 27 September 1956) was a British composer. Finzi is best known as a choral composer, but also wrote in other genres. Large-scale compositions by Finzi include the cantata Dies natalis for solo voice and string orchestra, and his concertos for cello and clarinet.

Mary Kid (born Marie Anna Albertine Keul; 8 August 1901 – 29 October 1988) was a German actress. She appeared in more than forty films during the Weimar Republic, but her career came to an end in the early sound era.

Hans Kammler (26 August 1901 – 1945 [assumed]) was an SS-Obergruppenführer responsible for Nazi civil engineering projects and its top secret V-weapons program. He oversaw the construction of various Nazi concentration camps before being put in charge of the V-2 rocket and Emergency Fighter Programs towards the end of World War II. Kammler disappeared in May 1945 during the final days of the war. There has been much conjecture regarding his fate.

Franco Dino Rasetti (August 10, 1901 – December 5, 2001) was an Italian (later naturalized American) physicist, paleontologist and botanist. Together with Enrico Fermi, he discovered key processes leading to nuclear fission. Rasetti refused to work on the Manhattan Project on moral grounds.

Luigi Fantappiè (15 September 1901 – 28 July 1956) was an Italian mathematician, known for work in mathematical analysis and for creating the theory of analytic functionals: he was a student and follower of Vito Volterra. Later in life, he proposed scientific theories of sweeping scope.

Karl Beurlen (17 April 1901 – 27 December 1985) was a German paleontologist.Beurlen was born in Aalen. He attended University of Tübingen. He completed a PhD in 1923.Beurlen was a proponent of orthogenesis and saltational evolution. He used the term metakinesis (coined by Otto Jaekel) to describe sudden changes of development in organisms. He also invented the term palingenesis as a mechanism for his orthogenetic theory of evolution.He was an assistant of Edwin Hennig.He was a proponent of National Socialist ideology and wrote about the Aryan race.He was director of the Zoologische Staatssammlung München.

Marcelle Pradot (born Marcelle Marie Claire Pénicaud, or Pénicaut; 27 July 1901 – 24 June 1982) was a French actress who worked principally in silent films. She was born at Montmorency, Val-d'Oise, near Paris. At the age of 18 while she was taking classes in dancing and singing in Paris, she was asked by Marcel L'Herbier to appear in his film Le Bercail (1919). She went on to appear in a further eight of L'Herbier's silent films, and then in his first sound film L'Enfant de l'amour (1930) with which she ended her acting career. She was noted as an aristocratic beauty, and she was described by the critic Louis Delluc as "the Infanta of French cinema".Marcelle Pradot and Marcel L'Herbier were married in late 1923, and their daughter Marie-Ange was born in the following year. Marcelle Pradot died in Neuilly-sur-Seine in 1982, two and a half years after L'Herbier.

Marie Odette Goimbault (10 August 1901 – 26 March 1987), known professionally as Mary Odette, was a French-born film actress.Odette starred in a number of films made by Astra Films. After the slump of 1924 dramatically reduced the number of British films being made, she appeared in several continental European productions. She retired from films in 1928, shortly before the arrival of sound films in Britain.
