Dave W. Mulder (born February 17, 1939) is an American politician and educator who served as a member of the Iowa Senate for the 2nd District from 2005 to 2009.

James F. "Jim" Hahn (born October 25, 1935) was the Iowa State Senator from the 40th District. He served in the Iowa Senate since 2005. He received his diploma from Muscatine High School in 1953 and has worked as a real estate salesperson since 1989.

Wilmer Rensink (born March 22, 1933) is an American politician in the state of Iowa.
Rensink was born in Sioux Center, Iowa. He is a farmer and livestock feeder. He served in the Iowa State Senate from 1987 to 1999, and House of Representatives from 1983 to 1987 as a Republican.

Wayne Dresden Bennett (November 7, 1927 – September 3, 2015) was an American politician in the state of Iowa.
Bennett was born in Schaller, Iowa. He attended Iowa State University and was a farmer. Bennett served in the Iowa House from 1973 to 1993 for district 48 from 1973 to 1983 and district 4 from 1983 to 1993. Bennett was also a state senator from the 6th district from 1993 to 1997. He died on September 3, 2015.

Richard Peter Vande Hoef (May 15, 1925 – December 20, 2020) was an American politician in the state of Iowa. Vande Hoef was born in Boyden, Iowa, in May 1925. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the United States Army and worked as a farmer. He served in the 2nd District of the Iowa State Senate from 1981 to 1993, and House of Representatives from 1993 to 1999, as a Republican. Vande Hoef died in December 2020 in Sibley, Iowa, at the age of 95.

Hubert M. Houser (born October 9, 1942) was the Iowa State Senator from the 49th District. He served in the Iowa Senate from 2002, when he filled a vacancy left by Derryl McLaren's resignation, until 2013. [1]
Houser served on several committees in the Iowa Senate - the Agriculture committee; the Local Government committee; the Transportation committee; the Ways and Means committee; and the Economic Growth committee, where he is the ranking member. He also serves on the Agriculture and Natural Resources Appropriations Subcommittee. His prior political experience includes serving as a representative in the Iowa House from 1992 to 2001, serving on the Pottawattamie County Board of Supervisors from 1979 to 1993, and serving two terms on the Carson-Macedonia School Board.
Houser was re-elected in 2006 with 14,373 votes, running unopposed. [2]

Tom Riley (January 9, 1929 – July 21, 2011) was an American lawyer from Cedar Rapids, Iowa who served two terms in the Iowa House of Representatives and four in the Iowa Senate.

Kathleen "Kitty" Rehberg (née Kaesser; born October 16, 1938) is an American politician in the state of Iowa. A Republican, she served in the Iowa Senate as the representative for the 14th district from 1997 to 2003 and as the representative for the 12th district from 2003 to 2005.

Ron Wieck (born August 13, 1944) is a former Iowa state senator from the 27th District. A Republican, he served as Senate minority leader, assuming the post following former minority leader Mary Lundby's announcement of plans to retire from the Senate in 2008. He served in the Iowa Senate from 2003 to 2010.
Wieck served on several committees in the Iowa Senate - the Economic Growth committee; the Government Oversight committee; the Labor and Business Relations committee; the State Government committee; the Veterans Affairs committee; and the Commerce committee, where he is the ranking member.
Wieck was re-elected in 2006 with 13,459 votes, running unopposed. [1]

Arthur Alan Neu (February 9, 1933 – January 2, 2015) was an American Republican politician and lawyer who served as the Lieutenant Governor of Iowa from 1973 to 1979.
