Geir_Digerud

Geir Digerud (born 19 May 1956) is a Norwegian cyclist.
He was born in Oslo, and is the son of Per Digerud. He competed at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, where he placed 55th in the road race and eighth in team time trial with the Norwegian team. He won a bronze medal in team time trial at the 1979 UCI Road World Championships.He won the Norwegian National Road Race Championship in 1977, 1978 and 1979, and represented the clubs Birkenes IL and SK Rye.

Verner_Blaudzun

Verner Blaudzun (born 23 March 1946) is a Danish former cyclist who represented Denmark at the Summer Olympics. He won the bronze medal in the men's team time trial at the 1976 Montreal Olympics held in Canada, alongside Gert Frank, Jørgen Hansen and Jørn Lund.
He came fourth in the same even at the 1968 Olympics, and came 42nd 4 years later in the 1980 men's road race.Blaudzun's son, Michael, was a professional road bicycle racer who was twice Denmark's national road racing champion and 3 times national time trial champion. He retired after the 2008 season.
The Dutch singer-songwriter and bicycle racing enthusiast Johannes Sigmond chose 'Blaudzun' as his stage name.

Michel_Vaarten

Michel Vaarten (born 17 January 1957) is a retired track cyclist and road bicycle racer from Belgium. He represented Belgium at the 1976 Summer Olympics in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, where he won silver medal in the 1.000m time trial behind East Germany's Klaus-Jürgen Grünke. Vaarten was a professional from 1979 to 1992. He won 12 national titles, one European title and one world title, mainly in track cycling. Vaarten is currently piloting a Derny bike in many Six Day Cycling events around Europe.
After his competitive career, he served as a pacemaker.
