Lucy M. Boyden ( boy-den; born May 1, 2000) is an American politician. She currently serves as a member of the Vermont House of Representatives for Lamoille District 3, which encompasses Cambridge, Jeffersonville and Waterville, for the Democratic Party. Boyden belongs to the youngest state legislators in the United States.
Kate Donnally is an American politician who served as a member of the Vermont House of Representatives for the Lamoille-2 district. A member of the Democratic Party, and serves with Representative Daniel Noyes. Donnally was elected in November 2020, and assumed office on January 6, 2021. She was re-elected in 2022.
Jean Ankeney (March 29, 1922 – May 14, 2005) was an American politician, teacher, and public health nurse.
Born in Fuzhou, China, to American missionaries, Ankeney grew up in Williamstown, Massachusetts. She received her bachelor's degree from Hiram College and her master's degree from Case Western Reserve University. Ankeney was a teacher and public health nurse. In 1975, Ankeney moved to Vermont and lived in St. George, Vermont. From 1993 to 2002, Ankeney served in the Vermont State Senate and was a Democrat. Ankeney died at her home in St. George, Vermont of a rare form of lung cancer.
Elizabeth Mary "Liz" Ready (pronounced "reedy") (born October 7, 1953) is a Vermont non-profit director and elected official who is most notable for her advocacy for Vermonters with lower incomes, especially the housing insecure. She served in the Vermont Senate from 1989 to 2001 on the Senate Finance, Appropriations, Agriculture and Natural Resources and Energy (including a stint as Chair). She also served as Vermont Auditor of Accounts from 2001 to 2005.
