She also won bronze in this event at the 2021 World Karate Championships in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. In 2021, she represented Peru at the 2020 Summer Olympics in Tokyo, Japan. She competed in the women's 61 kg event.

In the women's singles event she lost in the first round to Elena Nozdran of Ukraine.
